It’s just things. Prosecuting these victimless crimes serves no societal good. It only serves to break up families (I thought republicans were pro-family values) and then creates at risk youth. In effect we should decriminalize these actions so as not to affect the futures of the people caught up in it.
I’m not saying turn a blind eye, but rather create jobs and intervention programs that offer a path to dignity, a solid paycheck (coupled with UBI), and reinvest in communities that our society has neglected.

There can never be dignity when you give these people money for nothing and you expect absolutely nothing from them in terms of behavior, you just expect that they’re going to act like zoo animals. The way to dignity is with standards and work so they can have pride in their behavior and what they have done.

The sooner democrats understand that, the sooner we can start to improve our society.

Your response drips with privilege.

DP.
No. It is actually an accurate post.
Do you think that one having standards and dignity equals "privilege?"

These are the same people who think hard work and timeliness are racist tropes. You’re wasting your time talking to imbeciles.

+1
Don't forget, correct answers in math and spelling are also vestiges of white supremacy. These are the imbeciles who are ruining this country.

Yep. But they "had to have a way to express their outrage."

Well, I expressed my outrage by voting Youngkin. Will express it again as a new republican voter.

There are quotes from DAs saying they don’t want to prosecute shoplifting anymore, if that’s what you’re looking for. I’m not sure if anyone is telling them that. I think it’s what they run on, because they know their democratic base likes it.

The SF prosecutor Chesa is being recalled for this.

So in other words it's a unilateral decision by one single foolish person, unsupported by any legal statutes or governing body. Meanwhile they are still prosecuting but at a lower rate. Meanwhile it doesn't absolve police of their duty to continue responding to calls and making arrests. If police aren't bothering to respond to these flash-mob robberies because they *might* not get prosecuted then that is the police intentionally deciding to not uphold law and make the problem even worse.

Stop blaming police when politicians are to blame.

Retail stores create honorable jobs. When retail stores pull out jobs are greatly reduced in some areas.

Looting hurts everyone.

Showing up for work creates a path to dignity. Supporting yourself creates a path to dignity. Those that do not steal lead dignified lives.

We currently have help wanted signs throughout pretty much every state in the US. Unskilled labor jobs are starting at $20 - $22 per hour.

SF is the envy of the world.

We don’t need your pity, or your castigation from your trailers.

Retail jobs are not offering $20-22/hr, not even the luxury retailers shown as shuttered in the previous picture. And that’s basically where they’d need to start to even attract applicants in an extremely expensive market like SF these days. Those stores were going to close from labor issues. Especially if you count the fact they were depending on the taxpayer to supply their private security free of charge as a labor issue.

There's many more pictures in her her Twitter. It's amazing what the liberal extremist leadership has allowed to happen.

Take note California: the MPAA is now the MPA. And Hollywood isn't the only thing in decline.

Cite please? I don’t believe any of that.

SF is sooooooooo far down on the list of nice places to live. No one wants to live that overpriced cesspool. Who wants to pay exorbitant amounts of money for a crappy small apartment while having to dodge human dookie and used hypodermic needles spreading hepatitis everywhere? There are many, many other cities in the world where people envy more to live than SF. SF is a trash heap open sewer.

There is an obvious contradiction in your argument: If nobody wants to live in SF, why are property values so high?
