Why are you over sex?

Get me out of the house, to a hotel and I am game. Doing it in the marital bed, with the kids in the next room, with the same person, with a ton of things on my mind. Not so much. Oh, and I have an O every time, my husband is good at that department.

I totally understand the appeal of lesbian bed death.

Are you serious? The sex is good you have an O every time and you are over sex??? I really don't get that. I miss having sex so much (div.) and think you are so lucky.

What is stopping you, did you lose both hands in an accident?

+1000

Jerk off and get over it. You aren't entitled to sex

And you aren't entitled to a faithful spouse

and you are not entitled to be married to me. If you don't like it divorce me. I will divorce you and I don't need 1/2 your assets, and my assets are in a trust you can't touch.

I married a partner not a child who cries like a baby because I don't want to hump the second he walks in the door. if you can't handle waiting a day, bye Felicia. Both my hands work!

But after we spit the assets and kids 50/50 while you are officially another divorced older woman, I am entitled to immediately start dating every hot thing 12 years younger and 20 pounds thinner than you. I win.

Wouldn't it be much easier to just "fake it" 2X per week like most successful wives have been doing since the invention of marriage?

Meh. Still better off than being in a relationship with an a-hole who thinks cheating is ok.

I don't think cheating is OK.
But it is equally dispicable to sexually reject your spouse.
You started these bad behaviors, expect consequences.

You are saying that cheating is equal to asking your H if you can nap after his long trip before you have sex?

If a guy is fit/muscular, well endowed and good at making her O then I bet that sex will still be the one thing that works even when the rest of the relationship is in shambles.

Can we let this myth die. Like, the myth that every woman who was cheated on was asking for it because she was cold and frigid.

Not every woman craves sex daily. Not every woman has an on/off switch and can magically switch it on when their husband gets home. I have a hot, hung, muscular husband who wants sex all the time, and it's hard for me to meet him in the middle. We are working on it, our marriage is on the line. I wish I was flooded with testosterone or whatever else you high drive women have. We used to have awesome sex prior to marriage. I didn't compromise on mate selection. I have a husband who is the envy of my friends. I just don't turn on as easily as the vixens on this board and I am supremely jealous of all of you.

Then read erotica, masturbate, watch porn. Flirt with your coworker. Do whatever you have to do to get revved up for your husband.

When he gets back, it's mama's turn to relax!

You don't like sex?

PP here. No I don't like sex when I'm exhausted and on edge (which is what it's like for me to be alone with 4 kids for several days and nights and he knows that). I need to be in the mood for sex., which means relaxed. Why should I put out if I am too tired?

I think it's all in the way that you reject someone. I think there is a big difference between saying, "honey, I missed you and I love you, but I am exhausted. I am flattered that you want me right now, and I want you too, but if we're going to do it, let's do it right. Let me relax and recharge. Spend some time with the kids, they missed you a lot as well. And when I am rested and relaxed, I will welcome you home!" vs. "f-off, i'm tired and now annoyed that you want me."

Just my two cents.

Yep. The first would be really reasonable and would be fine if honest. But that's usually not how it goes, becuase the time when you are rested and relaxed will never materialize. Maybe some folks haven't realized but being an adult is rarely relaxing. Just saying.....

I am a new poster. I have not read through the thread but I did read the original post.

There is no secret! We've been married over 30 years, are best friends, still in love and we both have always enjoyed sex. I know my DH would like to have sex 2-3 times a week but he understands that for me it can be uncomfortable more than 1-2 times a week. We both take care of ourselves physically so the physical attraction is still there. We are both lucky that our parents had very happy marriages for over 60 years and it's something we'd like to achieve.

But how do you stay in love?

I don't have a good answer! I'm a Dem and he's a Rep so were not perfectly compatible! We really like spending time together but we give each other a lot of breathing space for our own interests. We are very family centric. Mutual respect for each other's capabilities. My DH has been very successful thus our relationship hasn't been money stressed for many years which certainly helps. And as I said, we both still enjoy sex.

Gross. You know your parents were having sex for 60+ years?

Why is that gross?

I doubt that my parents had sex after sixty years of marriage but they were truly in love.

He should read DCUM and see how little most of the wives think of their husbands, then he might adjust his expectations.

Are we reading the same thread? Where does it say anyone is "crying like a baby ... can't handle waiting a day"

Because I am reading:
-DW IS "OVER" SEX
-APPEAL OF LESBIAN BED DEATH
-GO JERK OFF
-GET OVER IT

Given the language above, going outside the marriage should be 100% expected, and would not even be considered "cheating".
There is no such thing as "threatening divorce" in a sexless marriage because there is no actual marriage involved, it's just room mates splitting up their stuff.

That's a creative one you can try to tell the court

Unfortunately for you, it is considered cheating. And your sorry ass will be clear on that by the time you're through

What the heck are you even talking about?
The courts do not care about anybody's sex life!!
And not one person EVER felt "sorry" that a sexless ex-spouse has gone away.

Actually, depending on where you live, the courts may indeed consider sex life, particularly cheating.

And no they don't... they feel happy and glad for the ex-spouse living with a sex-pest pervert that she's finally FREE!!!

i read that she wants to go somewhere without kids. You want to cheat and I think you should just get a babysitter or go to a hotel.
