No, please. It's the nosey parents who want to know. My son did not know who played on other club teams nor did he care. He barely cared who was on his own club team.

That is not something to be proud of.

you have mommy and daddy gossiping now who made the local club team.

signed from a mother whose son played at a D1 school and hung up his cleats after his sophomore season.

Are you kidding me? Have you been exposed to the basketball AAU or soccer academy scenes. Parents fretting, obsessing over who made the team. You can say this about any sport these days. I feel bad for the program directors. I can only imagine the discussions they are subjected to off-line by rabid helicopter parents.

Has Madlax, DCE, BW or NL posted rosters yet?

DC Express and Blackwolf will never post their rosters. It's weird, but that's them.

Why do you need to know the rosters? So, you can trash the kids?

I know college coaches take a look at the rosters of the top club teams.

Yes, they do. But they don't surf the Internet for them. The rosters are given to them by clubs and/or at events that supply them.

There are many sites that list rosters and club team information, paid for by the clubs, with college coaches and showcase people as the intended audience.

Since the results are not posted yet, if this is true it's coming from a Capital insider. Don't you think you'd work on your own political turmoil that is going on inside the organization, rather than focus on MS club matriculation?

Not true, easily just a parent that year who knows all the kids and hears the girls talk.

Also, Capital isnt in any turmoil. You just sound sour.

There is no political turmoil inside Capital. This is a sour grapes parent. Move on.

Yes, it is. It shows the kid is grounded and not worried about status. Sounds like your son has a good head on his shoulders.

I agree with prior poster - what kind of teammate "barely cares" about who was on his own team.

So wanting to know who is on the roster now equals status? LOL. Seriously some people need to get a grip.

How about simply kids want to know what other kids made the team? Newsflash - Club coaches don't announce results in front of everyone. It's usually a process of sending out rounds of invites to their top choices, 2nd choices, etc. down the line.

And what is wrong if parents want to know who is on the club? Unlike your son, as a parent I would like to know the level of talent the club is bringing in and retaining. I'm not spending $x,xxx to have my son play with B and rec level players. Get it? That won't get him better, they won't play in better tourneys, etc. etc.

Not caring doesn't show anything about being grounded. It shows a lack of maturity.

Exactly. I barely care who is my son's teacher. I barely care about my boss. I barely care about who is running this country. I barely care who my son or daughter hangs out with and considers friends. In other words, I barely care cause I only care about MYSELF.

You can insert any sport into your first sentence. Congratulations, welcome to 2017!!!

When our high school's coaches and player scout another team in advance of a game, one thing I know they do is figure out who the club players are. There is a strong presumption that those will be the impact players on any given high school team.
