What do you do when none of the men you met want a "serious relationship"?

My BIL lives in Manhattan. I know he matched with some girl in Brooklyn. He is just killing time with her. He is not in love with her. I know he keeps his options open. The Brooklyn girl is cute, well educated and has a good job. She is fine but I guess not enough.

Nyc is a bad place to date. Too many options.

If that rule were true, a lot of men who get married would never do that. NYC dating? Even someone who looks like Pee Wee Herman can get laid. But finding a relationship? Now that's tough!

I’m no dating expert. I’m married with 3 kids.

Most women want someone attractive, smart and successful. I have never met a woman who looked for an ugly, stupid loser.

I have a cousin who refuses to settle. She says the guy has to be very handsome. She is now 35 and won’t budge on looks. My other cousin harshly told her that she isn’t exactly a 10 so it is unrealistic for her to expect someone more attractive than her to go for her given her age. Of course she won’t settle for someone who is not well educated and successful either. My cousin is definitely attractive and bright. She is a teacher.
