+ 1. By law in Maryland, the girl cannot consent to having sex. Not until age 16. She's not even 14. It's statutory rape no matter what the age is of the boy. The point of laws like this is to protect minor females. Remember the term "jailbait"? |
The laws in Maryland (and every other state, as far as I know) apply to everybody regardless of gender. The age of consent is 16 for everyone. And if person A is under 18 and person B is 14 or 15, that's legal for everyone. Why would you think it's ok just to protect girls, but not boys? |
No. Prudish is an adjective, like controlling and clueless, that is describing the parents of DCUM. |
|
OP I wouldn't tell the parents. I would tell my daughter the laws of our state, and explain how kids can be arrested below the age of consent with a crime that has the potential to ruin both of the kids lives. That way my daughter knows and she can tell her friend.

Best response in the whole thread. |

First, none of your business.
Second, for the love of all, being sexually active with one boy does not meet any definition of promiscuous. Third, why are we using the word promiscuous in 2018?! |

I would also reconsider allowing my daughter to spend time at that girl's house as the parents have some extremely questionable judgement. |
Yep. Increases risk and undoubtedly teaches poor sex habits - rushing, no ability to relax, etc. |
Because having your mommy and daddy in the next room aware that you are screwing your new boyfriend in your bedroom is a healthy thing? |
| YES. ALSO SHOW HER MOVIES AND PICTURES AS PROOF. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HIRE A PI TO DO THIS FOR YOU? THANK YOU, GOOD SAMARITAN. |
My thoughts exactly |
