Humbled?

This is her sixth awards season. She has three Golden Globes and an Oscar. She has two other Oscar nominations. She has two major franchises in addition. She has earned her star status. If Robert Downey did this, everyone would laugh.

YES humbled. She is getting paid an obscene amount of money for the cushy job of acting. Give the poor foreign reporter a break for Pete's sake.

When something extraordinary happens to me it (not often but like recently getting a huge promotion at work) makes me want to be kinder, sweeter and more empathetic to others. She obviously thought she was above the guy and let the room know it. Yuck. Maybe she was trying to pull "an Amy" and be funny but it was not funny, it was obnoxious.

1) You've obviously never been on a set. Acting is hard work and it takes talent.

2) She is above that guy. She is the star. He is a reporter. He is asking for HER time. He needs to be polite to HER. If your CEO correct you, she'd be within her rights. If you are rude to your CEO, you're going to be looking for a job.

Your post is literally cringe worthy grow some balls and show some self-respect for Pete's sake do you honestly think any actor or actress regardless of who they might be is above anyone else get real !

When a man corrects someone like this, it's nbd because we're used to seeing men with authority. But when a woman corrects a man and isn't sufficiently ingratiating, out come the TONE POLICE to call her a total bitch or a c*nt or just say she was totally rude. Whereas again if a man did it the same person would not even notice.

Wake up ladies. Stop penalizing women for doing something that you'd think was totally normal if someone with a cock did it. Except, like, peeing standing up etc.

yep.

This sounds like something Amy Schumer would say because apparently feminism is about embracing bitchiness and talking about our vaginas and conquests while drunk. (For the record I find both men and women talking about conquests to be equally obnoxious). We need to go back to having bright, well-educated and articulate women teach us what feminism is about.

Jennifer was not being crass at all. She wasn't being a gutter mouth. But she was gently using some dry humor to demand the respect that she is due. She stood up for herself. Good for her.

Gently? I beg to differ the angry look on her face as well as her finger-pointing speaks volumes

Incorrect. If she doesn't get press, she won't get roles. So she needs to be equally polite to HIM, or she'll be living in that Ozark shack with a gun sooner than she wants.

Incorrect. Actually, actors and actresses walk out of interviews all the time with absolutely no professional repercussions whatsoever, though women seem to get more guff about it than men as you see from this thread. http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/ct-five-reasons-celebrities-shut-down-interviews-20151009-story.html

I also think it's hysterical that you think that an actress who has made millions of dollars will be living in the Ozarks if she does shit you disapprove of. In your dreams, maybe, where women who don't behave like subservient toys get punished, but in reality Lawrence has more money and power than you will ever have yourself.

She said she wanted to live in the mountains with a gun and a dog. I'm imagining her in the Ozarks because it seems like she'd fit in there.

I find it hysterical that so many people mention the finger wagging. What delicate flowers you are.

She didn't look angry or aggressive to me; she looked a bit peeved.

Sexist bullshit.

Finally got to see the video today and I must say she does look angry and it does look like she is speaking down to him it wasn't called for but I'm sure she's deeply regretful and everyone needs to move along
