Have you seen the video? I can assure you if you did you will know that she is most certainly not joking

I saw the video. She didn't come across as serious to me. She was joking...haha.

+1

Do your research people she even admitted today that she meant it

Meant what? I just don't even see the point of her being rude about that guy and his cellphone. It seems like much ado about nothing to be quite honest.

If it was a joke, it want funny. Hope she stops hanging out with Amy Schumer.

+1.

You'd think someone would have at least told her that the Golden Globes are awarded by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Meaning, you know, a lot of Foreign Press.

And if she weren't trying so hard to be flippant, she probably would have realized the guy was asking her about something in her immediate future - Oscar night.

She's an asshoke, but I guess she feels she's earned the privilege.

Another reporter posted on a site, I can't remember which, when I read the story this morning.
He said the reporter in question was not using a translation site, he was trying to film himself asking the question and poorly working his phone. He was in the way of other reporters and basically making a nuisance of himself.

Let me see if I can find it, it was early this morning I came across it.

I think she had a tone, but I think it could have been warranted if this second reporter is to be believed. And of course, it's got nothing to do with the media trying to make it a story since obviously the Gaga/Leo thing didn't blow up as big as they wanted....

I think she comes across as smug -- she's hardly smiling, especially when she corrects him for saying Oscars instead of GG. I usually think she's amusing, but this didn't amuse.

Read the first person account. The reporter was wasting everyone's time trying to film a selfie video of his interview with Lawrence. Her reaction was pretty appropriate!

+1000!

Plus what a hypocrite that she needed help to learn Spanish. What a bitch!

This thread is so awful. This forum should be for talking about movies, books, tv etc. without letting yourself fall down into the muck of gossiping about celebrities. Newflash, you don't know these people. And your love of building them up and then tearing them down says more about you than them. Ick.

glad she lost weight

NP here. I don't think she was out of line. When you are asking someone questions, it is appropriate to look at them, and not your phone. And he didn't even realize WHICH award show he was at (Oscars vs Golden Globe). I am not a fan of hers for other reasons, but I thought she was appropriate here.

Then what the hell are you doing on it ? Go away,,

I agree. She's a 24 year old actress - she's not changing the world. No excuse to treat others as if they are below you. She's officially uninteresting to me.

To me, no matter what he did looking at her very stern face and her finger-pointing was completely unwarranted and frankly a very ugly side to someone who is often referred to as Hollywood starlet....... I'm sure that there is no doubt that she is deeply regretful of it because she was completely lambasted in the press yesterday

In theory I completely with you it's unbelievably rude to be looking at your phone but no one really knows for sure exactly why he was looking at his phone and even if he was looking at his phone to check his Facebook update it's the way that she spoke to him it was so demeaning and completely inappropriate
