Jennifer Lawrence and her arrogant attack on a reporter after last nights Golden globes

Huh? I thought she was funny. I certainly don't think that she meant to offend anyone.

It's a long day from hours on the red carpet answering insipid questions, sitting through a long award ceremony, then onto answering more questions. I think she handled herself like a professional.

Yes sounds really brutal go tell that to the soldiers on the front line in Afghanistan

They get paid to do that too.

I will pretend I didn't read that what an ass you are these people are sacrificing their life for pennies it makes the job big JL does look like complete bullshit

I will pretend to ignore your grammar issues, and remind you that they voluntarily took that job.

Both JLaw and soldiers voluntarily took the job but the soldiers work themselves to the bone risking life and limb for a fraction of what J Law makes. Let's not pretend it's the same thing.

Exactly and last I heard men and women in uniform unbelievably polite not like some arrogant little 25-year-old twerp you think she's better than everyone

I saw the video. She didn't come across as serious to me. She was joking...haha.

I've liked her but this is just being a bitch

It's polite to look at someone when you speak to them. If you're going to be a reporter and you're going to interview someone in English, then you shouldn't need to translate at the same time. It's not the UN.

Ah, America. How open minded of you.

No, dumb ass. Press conferences are conducted in the language of the country you are in.

For example, here's a clip from the Venice film festival:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cjig6C03bQ

It's being introduced in Italian, however, you can hear the blonde woman telling the actress Maika Monroe to put the ear phones in for a translation.

OP,

I doubt that you know any soldiers putting their life of the line anywhere in the world. My sense is that you don't get out from behind your screen very often. Whatever bee is in your bonnet about Jennifer Lawrence, I think it's stemming from your internal anxiety or depression:

You have a lot of distortions in your thinking; please seek mental help ASAP.

It's a departure from her quirky every girl image. The tone is mean and she's willing to take a quick low jab. Made me h comfortable to watch it.

I watched the clip and she comes across as arrogant. I think she is a very talented actress and as she started to become famous I found her so endearing and humble in interviews. The past year or so she either seems drunk during the interview or if sober, she comes across as smug.

Are you assuming that OP authored all of the previous posts? S/he didn't, because I did some, but not all. And it really doesn't matter. Anyone can say anything about their profession and compare it to being a movie star. The fact remains that they chose to do it. If they don't like the terms- change it. Don't complain about the hardship and sacrifice etc etc- change it and stop whining.

So I assume you never complain about anything being difficult or unpleasant either? After all, I doubt too many soldiers on the front line in Afghanistan are hanging out on DCUM.

Do your research people she even admitted today that she meant it

You think that someone who just won an award would be humbled enough to treat everyone especially kind… At first I couldn't decide if she's just incredibly arrogant or just stupid, now I think she's both
