That was a non-event. Lady Gaga brushed up against him and his back was turned, so he didn't know where it was coming from. He was just surprised. No grand conspiracy here.

Supposedly it wasn't and accident. He was laughing loudly that she won so she bumped him on purpose. He apparently had been talking throughout the night that he couldn't believe she was nominated.

It was not bullying. And if he really was making fun of her and she hip checked him, good for her.

It was total bullying on his part. It sounds like he had a bug up his arse that she dared to even get nominated and then when her name was called he proceeded to be a complete a-hole about by "laughing" loudly and when she hip checked him (hey, buddy enough!) he gave that nasty freak out look.

He's a jerk. And I really hope that if Leo is ever nominated again he has to go up against... Justin Bieber or Blake Shelton or some other random dude...and they beat him out. Leo doesn't deserve to win again.

Sigh. Being a dick is not the same as bullying. Look up the definition. Bullying is a repeated action.

I finally watched it out of curiosity. I agree with her. People on their phones all the time are rude and annoying. She was much nicer than many would have been and made it humorous.

Some of you just want to celebrity bash and should look for real issues to vent that anger about. You are waaaaaaaay over reacting to this.

I saw it exactly this way. The people on this thread getting all bent out of shape are weird.

What stops you all from telling people to put their phones down and live in the present?

She is the same smart ass she's always been. She hasnt changed.

So? Does that mean she deserves to be called a bitch or c*nt?

And to the pp who asked if we get to tell others to put down their phones and be present - no, you can't do it to those whose lives have no affect on yours. But say you are in line at the DMV and the clerk is on her phone. Do you say something? Yes- because they aren't doing their job and they are holding up not only you, but everyone behind you. Most of us in that situation would speak up. Many may do it more subtly but some may attempt to make a joke out of it. If the joke fell flat, does the person really deserve to be called a bitch or c*nt?

I completely agree that it would be extremely rude unless he was resorting to the phone for translation purposes which really none of us knows for sure - however her tone and finger-pointing were completely over-the-top and extremely on becoming for someone who should've been humbled having just want to major award

I love JLaW!

And she admitted to kissing Liam too...so all was good in my universe.

I think it was rude. That's a high-pressure environment and situation for a reporter and maybe he was green. He was foreign, right? He most likely was nervous. And he probably had his question written out on his phone, or he was making sure it was recording. Reporters can do their jobs without smartphones, yes, but they make it a hell of a lot easier when you're on deadline to file ASAP.

Evidently he had been doing this throughout the evening - making it CLEAR that he was not happy that she had been nominated. If someone did that to you repeatedly throughout an evening (making nasty comments, laughing AT you for winning and then giving an eye roll of pure disgust as you walked by...I'll bet you wouldn't appreciate it).

Here I am standing up for Gaga and I can't really stand her! But wrong is wrong Leo.

The more I hear about the story with Leo the more turned off I am and actually feeling now that he didn't deserve to win after all

This--a million times over.

There are obviously some people with obvious abnormal psychological fixations on Jennifer Lawrence. If you don't like her, don't watch her interviews or movies. Done and done.

Yes, I get that. Hence why I said he was a dick. But it's not bullying to be a dick for one night. Have a little perspective. I also said in my original post good for her if she hip checked him if he was making fun of her all night.
