I actually agree with you that on average strippers may have more issues than people in other professions. But, this doesn't mean you should condemn her before meeting her. How would you feel if he brought home a woman who was a teacher, in finance, or a physician? Well guess what, they are more likely to be cheaters. Would you have the same feeling if he brought home someone like this? How about if he brought home a lawyer, surgeon, or CEO? well guess what they are more likely to be psychopaths.

I am not naive about strippers and have known some over the years. Quite a few are now devoted wives and moms with mainstream jobs and not crack addicted escorts, gasp.

I found out recently that the wife of a family we know pretty well used to be as tripper back when she and her husband first met. I never would have been able to guess that. She ended up putting herself through college, get a useful degree, married a great guy and went on to have three beautiful children. Yes, it caused a lot of strife in HIS family and he definitely lost the support and respect of some of his family members, but he married her anyway and they are still happily married after 14 years. My point is, who cares if she is a stripper- that doesn't make her a bad person. Maybe she is doing it to put herself through school, or support family, etc. Being a stripper doesn't equal prostitute or criminal. Maybe open your mind a bit and you might be surprised that she is just a regular person.

One of our neighbors left his wife and married the stripper. She was quite a bit younger (of course) and he was quite the sugar daddy. She's now bored, he's gotten old and she cheats on him all the time. It's sad, really. Bad choices all around.
