I'd guess 1700-1800. If you also exercise, I'd guess you need more than that. I'm also a 0/2, 5'6, 117lbs and eat so much like you, except with mostly salads and soups for lunch instead of sandwiches, and I do bagels in the morning and yogurt at night. |
| This board is funny sometimes. If you don’t snack or eat dessert every day it’s disordered. I don’t do either of those and I frankly struggle to get enough nutrition in to support my activity level. I’m a middle aged 40 something M and on super active days the random calculators I ignore are saying 3000+ which is a lot of food if you aren’t eating processed garbage. |
You misread. We are raising our eyebrows over eating *a piece* of a chocolate covered strawberry. No one is upset over a single strawberry. |

I am 5’4” and 111 lbs. I eat:
- No breakfast (have never been a breakfast person), just a cup of black coffee in the morning - A mini tortilla and a piece of cheese, or a bowl of oatmeal with almond milk (Quaker Maple & Brown Sugar), or some soup, or grilled vegetables and a serving of steak (available for free at my work cafeteria if I am at the office), or a slice of toast topped with smoked salmon and capers, for lunch. - Big serving of roasted veggies and a serving of chicken or fish for dinner. Sometimes a slice of pizza or a stir fry or something else. I try to limit carbs at dinner and eat a small portion of the entree, but don’t limit vegetables. I don’t snack or eat dessert really, mostly because I don’t like to - not out of active restriction. |
Why? What's the difference? That poster already explained that these strawberries come in pieces (halves) and she would take a whole strawberry, if that's how they were made. Don't be ridiculous.

Lol thanks (really). I was being serious on the suggestions. I said in the original post I should probably do something else for breakfast. I’ll check out plain instant oats and add my own brown sugar. |
Me again. I finally tried overnight oats and I guess I can be a convert now. It’s probably better than the instant oatmeal I was doing health wise???!!! |
| I’m 5’4’’121 lbs. I usually eat about 1300-1400 calories a day. |
I eat instant oatmeal every morning and am interesting in trying overnight oats. I just don't know about eating the oatmeal cold though, that doesn't sound appealing. Do you warm yours before eating it? |
| I eat 2,200 calories a day and love them all. |
This!! I started eating junk food just to reach my calorie goal. |
I wonder if I am the one who recommended overnight oats? We discovered the concept earlier this year. Yes, I think you could warm them up. It’s worth a try! I add soy milk for some extra protein and sometimes chocolate chips along with apples and/or banana. |

| I‘ve never been overweight, but I don’t think counting calories is healthy. No naturally think woman I know counts calories. |
