Jesus on wealth: It is harder for a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven than a camel through the eye of a needle. You cannot serve God and money. Go sell everything and give it to the poor and come follow me.
Jesus on Poverty: Blessed are the poor; the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. Jesus on Crime: Blessed are the merciful. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. If you do not forgive the trespasses of others, God will not forgive yours. Jesus on your Enemies: Love your enemies. Blessed are the peacemakers. Jesus on Abortion: No response Jesus on Foreigners: The Good Samaritan story Jesus on Wages: The workers in the vineyard parable, in which the owner pays the workers according to what they need, not the hours Jesus on Taxes: Give to Caesar what is Caesar's Jesus on Capital Punishment: Thou Shalt Not Kill Jesus on Contraception: No response Jesus on Gay Marriage: No response. Jesus on Out of Wedlock Births: Mom Then of course Judgment Day: I give you Matthew 25, which is worth quoting exactly:

OP, amen!
But forgive me for the quibble that "Let he who is without sin ..." should ber "Let him who is without sin ..." (or "He that is without sin among you, let him ..."). |
Fair enough. I was going off the top of my head and not trying to be exact, but you are correct. |
LOVE THIS POST! I'm copying it and saving it. |
Hear hear, OP! |
Jesus on abortion: jeremiah 1:5 I knew you before you were formed in your mothers womb. |
1 corinthians 6 9-10 "do not be decieved homosexuals shall not inherit the Kingdom ofd God." |
Yeah basically Jesus would get zero votes....fiscally liberal...socially conservative...why does it have to be soooo hard? |
Those are Paul's words, not Jesus's, and homophobia is one of the the least Christian traits I know. |
Technically the worst people on Earth, according to the bible, would be socially liberal and fiscally conservative. This makes sense since that would be the most selfish combination. Unfortunately, that is probably the dominant political movement. As the bible says "the road to heaven is narrow and wide is the road to destruction and many go that way". |
Slavery....jesus said nothing |
Sodom and Gamorah ....lots of homosexuality there. I didn' t see where Jesus had a disagreement with God the father in this regard. |

Jesus on abortion- thall shalt not kill, and I knew you before you were formed in your mothers womb. |
I'm just guessing but, I don't think God is well pleased by a reservoir of reproductive material lying dormant in the bowels of an adult male homosapien being at the center of ones identity. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it's a safe way to go! |
