The local Democrats have already started pushing a woman named Alexa Krezel to succeed Sizemore-Heizer on the School Board. She lives in the Woodson pyramid and has a FB page & web site:

I know her a little, she's really nice and appropriately assertive. Probably she and I disagree about politics pretty deeply, but I don't think she'll be the same level of disaster as plenty of SB members. I won't be upset if she gets elected.

Ask him what his thoughts are on boundary changes too. We shouldn’t give them a pass because they have a D next to their names.

Interesting. From what I know the Democrats who seem to pull the strings (for example, the ones who pushed Jessica Swanson aside in Mason in 2019 to get Ricardy Anderson elected) have lined up behind Krezel.

Along with Karl Frisch, Rachna was the prime architect of the misguided Policy 8130 revisions that have resulted in such a debacle of a boundary review.

But she's a Democrat, so she's now been rewarded with a seat on the BOS.

Honestly, no one should bother complaining about anything the School Board does, because there is never any accountability. It's like Trump saying he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and still get elected.

But she's a Democrat, so she's now been rewarded with a seat on the BOS.

People come on here every few years and say the school board will pay for X, Y, or Z. They rarely do. Sometimes they don't get elected to statewide office, but they can get away with anything in the county.

The best play is what Pekarsky, Cohen, and now Sizemore-Heizer have pulled off, which is to get elected to higher office based on your party affiliation and name recognition, before the consequences of your bad decisions on the School Board have become clear.

Almost like the views on here are not aligned with the mainstream views of the average fairfax county voter.
