Woman of color who prefers white men

"Black" man here; I call bullshit on the OP and on any inferred and/or explicit denigration of black men. As some have stated previously, there are all kinds of men, black, white, blue or otherwise. If you do not like "white" men who live in trailer parks, you could easily apply your broad brush to all white men.

There are many smart, handsome, articulate, sexy, loyal brown gentlemen out there. Yes, there are indeed challenges for many brothas out there, and as incarceration rates, police shootings, and educational attainment attests, it is challenging to negotiate a society that does not invest in who you are from childhood.

I have struggled to find smart, wholesome and not shallow women (of any color). To each his or her own...

That being said, I suspect most women (and men) want someone who is compatible as a partner; if more young women signal the type of men they are attracted to, more men would likely work to be that kind of person - its a two-way street.

Let me put it another way, if women are attracted to swagger confident men with expensive cars, clothes, jewelry - then men will posture to demonstrate this affect. Similarly, for women that like a more understated aesthetic - there are men to fit the mold.

So Ms. Fancy-Pants-I-only-date-whie-men knock yourself out. There are plenty of women who enjoy sexy, intelligent, financially secure, well read and traveled persons of color.

Your last sentence if very true, as long as by "plenty" you mean more than, say, 10,000 in the whole country.

What OP was trying to say, I think, is that even if all that is possible, it is much more likely with a partner of a different race.
