That being said, I suspect most women (and men) want someone who is compatible as a partner; if more young women signal the type of men they are attracted to, more men would likely work to be that kind of person - its a two-way street.

Let me put it another way, if women are attracted to swagger confident men with expensive cars, clothes, jewelry - then men will posture to demonstrate this affect.  Similarly, for women that like a more understated aesthetic - there are men to fit the mold.

So Ms. Fancy-Pants-I-only-date-whie-men knock yourself out.  There are plenty of women who enjoy sexy, intelligent, financially secure, well read and traveled persons of color.[/quote]
