| Am I the only one who thinks this season is absolute crap? I cannot believe this mean girl mentality. These women are unreal. How they treated Heather was absolutely disgusting and embarrassing. I don’t know how he could choose anyone. Terrible season |
| The mean girls might have broken me. I've watched all seasons but the first two, the London guy, Ben who I found boring, and Arie. This is the worst season by far. I can't fathom how they think this is positive in any capacity. Why is this something to emulate in any way? Maybe I'm just too damn old to find this entertaining anymore, but holy hell, this gives women a bad name. |
I completely agree. It’s so hard to watch! So disturbing |
| I guess I'm confused why anyone is shocked/cares that someone from Georgia went to a Deb/Plantation ball. It's what those people do- why pretend to be shocked? |
That’s how I felt about Peter’s season. |
People are outraged,not shocked. |
100%, they did to her what the other girls were sent home for. She took it really well IMO. |
| Are there spoilers for what Matt is crying about next episode- it seems like they cut together scenes to make it look like its about the actual show but likely he probably got some kind of news from home. I don't see what about these 3 women would devastate him so much. |
Why give someone who does that a spot on a show that should know how to vet people? Plenty of ladies want to be on the show who wouldn’t do the things she has done. |
|
MAtt doesn't seem like he's actually interested in getting married... which is fine, but not if you are the lead on THIS show!
I really like Michelle, the teacher. But, I don't think Matt is into her. She's a catch. But he doesn't want to play ball. He's not into Bri either. They just have a lot of similar things in their past. Bri doesn't get it. The big question is WHO is going to host the "After the Final Rose." It definitely WON'T be Rachel Lindsay. I'm wondering if it'll be JoJo? And maybe she'll have Tayshia on as well to discuss race issues. Frankly, it's a tough spot... if you are the host and you say anything deemed "wrong," it could be the end of your bright future. |
I love Michelle but I think she is too grounded for him. He seems insanely wishy washy. Very nice as a person, not some a-hole but just completely unable to make decisions and stick to it. Which should be a recipe for high drama on a show like this but mostly this season has just been blah. |
This is over some “offensive” likes on Instagram and a picture of her at a sorority event that yes, had an insensitive theme but dozens and dozens of them go on every year in the south. What exactly has she done, other than be ignorant, for which she apologized? I’m trying to understand the outrage, but making her out to be a terrible racist person isn’t the right answer IMO. I feel like most people, if scrutinized in the way these contestants are, have something in their past that is shameful. Maybe you are a perfect person. I don’t know. All I know is that I’m glad every little stupid thing I did in college isn’t publicly on the internet. I’m very grateful to be just 10 years older than her for that reason. |
SPOILER HERE! Yes, there are rumors that is the case. And I don't want to spoil it for others here. But do a quick search on it on Reality Steve. Warning, it will tell you the winner too. |
I’m more annoyed with the show than her. They were responsible for vetting ladies to go on the the show with the first black bachelor. They should have been prepared for something like this. I think she is doing a better job of apologizing and learning than the show, especially Chris. I’m not perfect, but I knew that those types of parties were offensive and wrong in the 90s when I went to college in the south. She’s not a terrible person, but she made mistakes that should have disqualified her from being on the show. The show got what it wanted- controversy and publicity as interest in the show was waning. |
+1. Rachel L. said it best when she said, and I'm paraphrasing, OK, they went to this party to play dress up to an era. What part would I play? What would I wear? If you just take a moment to consider that, these parties are just awful and should never be excused. Ever. |
