Wife is upset that I'm not reacting strongly enough to the Kavanaugh hearings

This was paid for by the dems to delay process until the mid-election votes.

Too bad he doesn’t want a thorough investigation where his buddy Judge is actually questioned under oath! It’s amazing how he doesn’t want due process for himself.

He had 6 FBI investigations into him, and nothing. They found no merit to even go forward with a case. Mark Judge gave a sworn statement, just like the other witnesses. It’s not Kavanaughs responsibility to prove he’s innocent, it’s Fords responsibility to prove he’s guilty, and she hasn’t.

I wish I was married to one. Female conservative with a brain. Actual SA survivor. Not anti-men. Fear for the young men in this country with so many women labeling any man that even smiles at them a “sexual predator”.

Can’t be hard to find what you’re looking for these days - they’re all getting divorced! Maybe you can try for Don Jr.?

+1 If my DW started going on and on about the patriarchy and starting sentences with "white men" this and that, I'd file ASAP.

You have really poor reading comprehension. It’s amazing how stupid Republicans are these days.

Be kind. Us survivors are going through a lot of emotions right now.. its really affecting me negatively. I did the "right" thing and reported it to officials immediately but the pressure of it all got to me and revictimized me. I cant even imagine what Dr. Ford had to go through and to see the way it was politicized was too much.

Just more nutso Fox News taking points. This isn’t a criminal trial, this is a job interview. I wouldn’t even hire Kavanaugh to mow my lawn. Too many other qualified people out there.

I guess you think most females are brainless then since most females aren't Rs, especially the educated ones. But ok.

I have a DD and DS. I fear for women in this country too because clearly, men can still assault them and get away with it.

You need to take a break from you Facebook feed.

I don't go on FB much. Only for notices from my kids' schools.

Lol. Just another man who thinks that it’s politics or news that is making women angry. It’s our own experiences. We don’t need Facebook to relive our own experiences.

White men hold most of the power in this country. If you can't at least acknowledge that then you have white privilege, and there's no trying to make you understand.

-signed someone married to a white male who gets it

Oh how fun, some hypothetical whataboutism to minimize people's pain here. Aren't you so clever!

Also, Merrick Garland isn't some idiot blackout drunk frat boy - and ALSO HE NEVER HAD A HEARING thanks to McTurtle. So I guess we'll just never know.

"Whattaboutism" is the new racism. My God, you people need to get the F over yourselves.

+1.

What about the thousands of black lives killed because of BLM and Enabler-in-Chief Obama?

So, she is freaking out because of this? How is she going to react if something happens to her or kids? Bunch of insane lunatics with too much time on their hands. I really don't get it, how does it impact her exactly? What is she going hysterical about? If you don't have kids, divorce, nobody needs to worry about politics, plenty of real problems of your own to handle. Is this a trigger for her? Are you people seriously wasting time on this?

No, her friend didn't say that. Her friend says she believes Dr Ford, but didn't know about the incident and therefore doesn't remember that party in particular out of the many she attended.

I will never understand why people think women take money to go through a hellish public ordeal. She has a family and a sweet job at Stanford, she has no reason to do that. The fact you think people lie for money says more about you than them.

+1 I'm the PP, and as I stated, don't even go on FB that much.

And I have been groped several times in my life, though thankfully, never sexually assaulted. Those groping experiences were gross enough. I can't imagine how I would feel if I were almost raped. If some women are responding in an over the top manner, perhaps it's because they have deep empathy because they've experienced it themselves. There is already lots of research out there that shows that women of these kinds of assault often don't report it and why. Clearly, we still have a long way to go.

PP here. My close friend is a Democrat, and she believe the whole thing is a sham. I was meaning it towards people who can’t see its a made up accusations , rather than Republican vs. Democrat. Plenty of educated Republican women, just as much as plenty of uneducated liberals, or “art degree” majors.

As a childhood sexual assaults survivor ( by more than one man), I understand the desire to have a victims voice heard. As a friend of a male who faced false allegations ( the woman cheated and said he raped her for fear of a breakup), and spent months in jail until she came clean, can see how men can easily be ruined by a false allegation. We are innocent until proven filth in this country, and Kavanaughs guilt was presumed by the left as soon as the story broke.

As much as I don’t want women to be victims, I don’t want men to be falsely convicted either. This world is turning into women being anti-men, with crazy women like he one who wrote an article stating that her child has the likelyhood go be a rapist because he was a male.

I understand.. like I said... I have a DS, too, and I know that false accusations happen. But read the research on how many women don't report this kind of thing vs how many men are falsely accused. Ford had a lot to lose here, too. She got death threats.

I used to be a R.
