What do you eat for breakfast?

Coffee and then a yogurt at 10. I feel sick if I eat in the morning.

Avocado toast with poached egg

I like a 1970s style breakfast. Large glass of whole milk, large glass of orange juice, coffee, two scrambled eggs, heavily buttered toast, four strips of extra crispy bacon, and a bowl of cornflakes with sliced bananas. Sometimes I'll substitut oatmeal for the cornflakes.

A two-egg omelet with some sort of cheese. And fruit.

Or plain oatmeal, with a little brown sugar. And fruit.

On Sundays, I take my son to Silver Diner and have the power breakfast. Eggwhites, cremini mushrooms, spinach, feta cheese, tomatoes, a couple of pieces of turkey bacon, and whole wheat toast. It sounds healthy-ish but it's sooooo many calories.

- Overnight oats with peanut butter, chia seeds, and a drizzle of maple syrup

- Plain whole-milk yogurt with berries and granola

- Two soft-boiled eggs with a piece of fruit (usually a banana or half an apple, will switch to peaches or berries in the summer)

- Breakfast sandwich with an English muffin, egg, and sprinkle of cheese

- Avocado toast and an egg

- Waffle sandwich - leftover waffle, toasted, smear with peanut butter, banana slices and maple syrup, fold in half. This is my extra indulgence when we make waffles on the weekend and have leftovers .

Whoa, this is me except my weekend breakfast is an avocado bagel with smoked salmon

Yeah, although I forgot to mention that sometimes I'll substitute turkey sausage for bacon and I was once stuck with skim milk because that's what my kids drink. I do not like lunch.

I sure do like you, PP!

I eat at work. I have either a banana and protein bar, or a cheese and spinach sandwich on WW or rye bread. I keep raisin bran in my office for the days I can't pull a breakfast together.

2 bowls of Cheerios

Coffee with cream and sugar. A bowl of cereal, either Total or Honey Nut Cheerios, with almond milk. Usually eaten standing up in the kitchen while I supervise the kids getting ready for school, but sometimes it has to come with me to the train station in a tupperware.

I prioritize an extra few minutes of sleep over a hot breakfast.
