What do you eat for breakfast?

And coffee with a little skim milk.

Avocado toast question - just a half an avocado? Does the other half keep?

we keep the other half in the fridge in a plastic baggie. fine until the next day when we use it for another toast.

+1 keeps best if you leave the pit in

overnight steel-cut oats with toasted nuts, raisins, and a drizzle of maple syrup

one poached egg, one thin slice organic toast, a little fruit

avocado toast drizzled with fresh lemon juice

when I'm feeling indulgent, cream of wheat with plenty of good butter and maple syrup, popovers, or pancakes.

Today I had a 2 egg omelette with onions and mushrooms on an avocado toast.

corn on the cob and a version of egg salad that I just made up on the spot (just one portion for myself, so I don't overeat).

Typically scrambled eggs with a piece of fruit. And whatever cereal my toddler didn't eat. Oh and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee with milk, no sugar.

The other morning I had leftover pulled pork and cucumber. I can't make that up, people.

Avocado toast or a hard-boiled egg if I have/make time. An egg mcmuffin with no canadian bacon if I'm starving on the way. Occasionally leftovers (especially if it's pizza). Most days, just coffee.

Black coffee. A lot of fresh fruit. A small yogurt. That's at 7:00 am. At 10:30 I have a small piece of cheese to hold off hunger until lunch. Which these days is a salad with little dressing.

This time of year scrambled eggs and gazpacho.

Oh I LOVE reading about what people eat for breakfast.

I've been in a hurry lately so I put coffee and a dash of half & half in a hydroflask. Then I open a container of Fage and add about a tsp of really good raspberry jam and a handful of blueberries. I try my best to replace the little aluminum cover, put it in a plastic baggie with a spoon and then eat it in the car at various backed up stoplights along my way to work.

This is me exactly plus about 4-5 cups of black coffee.

I make a batch of hardboiled eggs every weekend so I have them for the week.

Nothing except drink coffee.
I'm not a breakfast person. I know for some, it's the most important meal but not for me. I drink a glass of milk at mid morning and that keeps my tummy happy until the afternoon.
