I gained and lost 60 with both of my pregnancies.

For those that don't know, it's a music genre that comes from the drumming of upside-down big plastic paint cans. You used to see them a lot more on the streets.

I also love that DC has it's own rhythm. Love Rare Essence, Hugabucks and Junkyard and that all girl go go band from the 90s.
You might look for a meditation group/class. I've seen those around at wellness centers and on meetup.

We have the ABCs and Silly to Calm dvds. They came as a set from Target. I think that Circle Yoga may also sell them. My DD with SPD loves them but all my kids like them. I have to admit that I also join in from time to time.

I have this too and both my kids love it. I also have Animal Yoga.
I've been checking out this workout that combines pilates, yoga, strength training and dance/sport stretches. Has anyone heard of it or seen it on the schedule at their gym? And if you took a class, what did you think?
I think it's fine.
No, you are a not a cruel person. Your efforts to maintain a distant bond with her despite all that you have been through make you seem more like a caring and loyal person. And strong!

You aren't depriving your son of a grandparent, you are protecting him and being a good mom. Don't feel the least bit guilty about that.

I've spent 3 hours today masturbating to porn.

I hate socializing with people. I'm a very nice person and everybody that knows me knows I'll do anything for my friends. However, I hate the gossip, the small talk, the fake smiles and the little friendship games people play. I can count my friends (not only best friends) on one hand because of that.

Hey this is what I do too! So much easier than trying to explain why you hate it.

I also don't eat much seafood. I like fish, but shrimp, crab, lobster and squid all look like giant bugs to me.

I love the smell of new tennis balls and gas
I randomly pull up old threads I feel have useful life left in them

I also love the smell of gasoline (why, I don't know).

I am no good at sports.

I don't eat breakfast, but snack at midnight. (very bad, I know).

I agree, they are very easy and a good workout. I started with those before I found Z.
I love DC, I just wish it had a beach. I miss the beachy life.
Another artist here. I used to paint all the time, but haven't picked up a brush in about a year. Used to be an art director, now a designer/dancer and occasional illustrator.

I've seen art studio space advertised on CL. Torpedo Factory in Alexandria also rents out space to artists.

As long as OP follows a tailored maintenance plan after losing weight, it really doesn't matter how fast she sheds the pounds. That it is not "healthy" to lose more than 2 pounds a week is a myth. And, contrary to what a PP said, 1300-1400 calories a day is hardly "severe" caloric restriction. If she thinks that's severe, that probably explains why she's overweight.

I'm going by what the American Council of Exercise and American Council of Sports Medicine recommends. It's possible to lose 3-4/wk, but more difficult to maintain the weight loss the faster you lose.
exercise DVDs worked for me. Lost 60 pounds. Well, 35 of them with the DVDs. I have about 20 different dance DVD workouts.

Losing 4/wk is a bit much. It will be too easy to gain it back. Aim for 2 a week and its more likely to stay off.
