Just wondering as I am now trying for number 2. |
No, I did not. Is this really Off Topic? |
TTC forum sounds appropriate. |
I wish! No, I think I was about 5 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight. |
Yes! but I was careful to not gain much weight to begin with.
I gained a total of 22lbs (including baby), and lost all my weight within 6 months. How much do you need to lose? |
I gained 70 lbs with # 1 (stupid I know). At 8 months I've still got 20 to go. I want to start trying again but I'm forcing myself to wait until I get down to my starting weight, which was at the higher end of the healthy range anyway. I'd like to think I would gain less weight with # 2 but I am just too afraid that I would gain the same amount of weight but on top of the extra 20 I'm already carrying, and that would be really unhealthy. I have redoubled my weight-loss efforts in the past month and seen good results, and I'm hopeful that by early 2011 I will be at a healthy weight and ready to start conceiving. |
I was about 10 pounds above my pre pregnancy weight with #1 when I conceived #2. I put on 30 pounds for each pregnancy. I nursed for a year and didn't worry about it. I weaned #2, and at 5'0, was up to 132, which is just way too heavy. Just did weight watchers, am down to 115, and feel fantastic. Didn't take long at all. Don't worry about it, be healthy, eat good food if you're nursing, and lose weight by cutting calories after you wean, if you decide to BF. Good luck! |
Only had ten minutes between delivery of #1 and #2, so was only able to shed the weight of #1 in that short time frame. |
I only gained 26 lbs so it wasn't hard to shed post patum.
I was back in my reg. clothes within 3 mo. Didn't you stick to the recommended 25-30lb pregnancy weight?? |
LOL. |
You seem like a really nice person. ![]() |
I gained almost 80 pounds with my first pregnancy (I quit smoking), and 2 years later, I am still trying to get the last 30 off. I have hit a plateau. I do not want to get pregnant until I have all the weight off b/c I had pre-eclampsia during the last month of pregnancy. I was on bed rest for a month and do NOT want to have to do that again!

Just because you have a metabolism that works at warp speed, does not mean that the rest of the world does. Don't you realize the OP could have gained the recommended weight but is having a more difficult time getting it off? Or do you believe we should all be like you? |
Really? It took you that long to lose just 26 lbs.? Weren't you eating healthy and working out? Shame on you. |
I gained and lost 60 with both of my pregnancies. |
