He most definitely missed the memo, because I don't think he understood a word of English.
I ran to the bus stop to catch an approaching shuttle, but the bus just rolled on past it. I had to run after it and wave the driver down. WTH? He opens the door, I board and he's on the cell phone. I keep quiet for 13 blocks, savoring the warmth until we get close to Chinatown. I tell him to let me off at the metro. We get to the metro and he keeps rolling. I'm like, "hello?!?!" I pointed to the metro, and the bus stop we just passed and said stop, stop! He stops a block past it. Still on his cell phone. Ugh! I'm so reporting him tomorrow.
Oh yeah, I remember him in You've Got Mail. But I don't remember him in Con Air. Wasn't Nick Cage in that? It's been too long. I've never seen Undercover Brother...must check it out now.
Was he in any movies besides Half Baked and Nutty Professor?
Ice is for swelling. Heat is ok for aches and pains that aren't swollen. I am under my heat lamp right now, rehabing my sore hip. It feels much better after being heated. Tomorrow, jacuzi for the rest of my aches and pains.

Not the best plan.

zumbamama has the best plan. I try to do this as well, but often don't cause I'm lazy.

I am lazy too...photo archiving is a pain! Instead of CDs you could also get an external drive to store them on. Much faster than burning CDs.
If you have Photoshop, Bridge is it's companion software for sorting/organizing images that allows you easily access the images in Photoshop. It's part of the Creative Suite package. There's also iPhoto, a free software that most Macs come with. There's probably similar options out there for PCs, though.

But even without a program, I would at least split them up into folders according to date and subject matter. I like to label each image as such: 0809_oceancity01.jpg, 0809_oceancity02.jpg, 03, 04, etc. Then they would all go in the Ocean City August 09 folder.

Delete the ones you don't like, they'll just take up unnecessary space on your hard drive.

Burn each folder to a disc, in case you ever lose the files on your drive.

It's quite tedious and time consuming. I still have tons of images to organize. But when you have a block of time to sort them all out, it will make finding them much easier later, like if you wanted to put on a slide show for visitors or something (which you can do with iPhoto).
ooh I would be so creeped out if my cats did that! Does it happen everynight? Has anyone else in your house besides the cats noticed anything strange? Do you know anything about the history of your house?

Some people say that you have to acknowledge it's presence and then tell it to leave. But I believe I would call in a priest ASAP if I suspected a ghost swirling above me at night. There's no way I could ever fall asleep.
aww...hugs OP. You'll laugh about it next year. How about the rest of the day? Did it get better at all?

I sadly had to give my youngest a time out on Christmas morning also, because she put up a quite a fight when she had to take a break from playing to eat breakfast. My little drama queen.
OP, is it possible they honestly forgot? Maybe their memory is getting fuzzy in their old age?
My SIL bought one for herself for Christmas to get in shape this year. But my BIL and nephew were hogging it all weekend. It was HILARIOUS to watch them hula hoop and run/jump across logs on a river. It looks like a lot of fun. It certainly motivated my rather sedentary in laws into moving, laughing and having fun together. But whether they are motivated 8 weeks from now remains to be seen.

My boss lost 25 pounds on it and he hates the gym. I think it's great motivation for video game lovers.
me too. where has he been hiding?
Another alternative to Saori is Sayuri, which means "lily." That was Zhang Ziyi's name in Memoirs of a Geisha. I think Sayuri is beautiful.
I like Syra, but also like the spelling Saira. I also love Saori and Neva. But my favorite is Saya. I chose that name for a character in a story I wrote. I took it from Sayaw, which means "to dance" in Cebuano dialect.
OP, are you by chance a graphic designer or art director? Your point sounds like something I would tell one of my clients about their ad or book cover. I know what you are talking about with regard to using photography well on a page, but you really can't expect Roger Black or Ina Saltz out of the average family Christmas card sender.
