OP, why not cut one of the lessons out of the week for starters?

At home lessons are an option, too. Many music teachers travel to people's homes, and lessons are usually only a half hour. That would eliminate the hassle of getting everyone out the door and driving around.

I've also found private swimming instructors that will teach 2 kids for the price of 1 in the same time block, even if they are different levels. They split a 30 minute lesson, and one kid plays while the other one trains. Saves time, $ and running around stress.

I also like to make Saturday SAH day. All I want to do is decompress all day long and not worry about going anywhere. The kids play, draw, read, watch TV, cook, clean and cuddle with me. If I planned Saturday activities I think we'd all be fried...my energy is all gone by Friday.
Therapy grade oils (eucalyptus and thieves)
Long, hot showers several times a day

Round the clock:

Super spicy food:
Thai Drunkard Noodles,
spicy chili,
jalapeños and spicy mustard in a sandwich

You might find indoor soccer at a rec/community center. Or indoor swimming...it's like a little slice of summer during the winter.

Martial arts is also a great activity anytime of year.

interesting about the hot sauce!

This year we are doing "which type of music helps the plant grow faster?" I did this one in middle school, with classical, hip hop and rock...but this year we will add salsa to the mix.
Last year we did "which liquid makes the penny shine the most?" We dropped a penny in 4 different jars; one with saltwater, sugar water, vinegar and orange juice. We took before and after pics of the pennies, and left them in for about a week.

"Dance like no one is watching" -- Why? Why must I dance like no one is watching? Wouldn't I dance better if others were, in fact, looking on?

"Be The Change You Want To See" -- WTF? How can I "be the change"? If I want a crosswalk in front of my daughter's school, should I lie down and be that crosswalk? And even if I accept this on a non-literal level, I just don't see how it helps.

"Well-behaved women rarely make history" I hate seeing this attributed to Marilyn Monroe when it's Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. And, actually, many well-behaved women make history, but anyway.

I agree.
TY PP, but I do post anonymously on highly personal things, politics or when I'm too lazy to sign in and just want to read. And I'm not gutsy enough to post under my name in the sex forum!
Yes, well you can't get too worked up about annoying someone. People get annoyed at yoga pants, shoes, names, new moms asking advice....just about everything. If I annoy you so, you are most welcome to not click on my post.
Wow. I'm a racist now? I assumed he could not speak English because although he was distracted on the cell, he did look up the times I spoke to him. He knew that I spoke to him. He didn't answer and he didn't appear to understand what I was saying. The fact that he could not pull over at a bus stop was also an indication that he could not read the bus stop sign.

Forgive me, but should you not be able to read "STOP" and "BUS STOP" and street names if you drive a bus? Should you be able to answer passengers' questions? Should know the law about cell phones? If I were to go to Japan and get a job as a driver, do you think I should learn Japanese and learn Japanese driving laws?

Half my relatives don't speak English. A handful of my students don't speak English. I help out Spanish speakers everyday asking me for directions (although that was not the language the driver spoke). I have no problem with foreign languages. I grew up in a trilingual family and have every color of the rainbow in my tree. I still think bus drivers should know minimal English so they can, you know, read signs, answer questions and know what is required of them to do their job. But if you prefer drivers like the one I encountered, then by all means, go take the H St. shuttle and tell him what a great job he's doing.
Exercise makes me less hungry. The days I'm sedentary are the days I snack too much. I guess everyone is different.

You could try six smaller meals, instead of 3 bigger ones. Or snacking healthy between meals.

5 minutes before you eat, drink first and eat a few almonds.

Mint makes me less hungry too.

I will. If DH had been there, he probably would've shut his cell phone and told him to drive! haha! I don't have the nerve though.

I can't wait until they build the trolley!
