I am new to this game, our offer got accepted yesterday after home searching for 2 years. We had to settle due to the current market so my dream of no reno house did not happen.

The new place needs lots of touches- some major some small and we cannot afford to do sth huge right now.

On my list: flooring, whole kitchen redesign, master bath, master bedroom closets. Which one should be prioritizing?

Also, if we do the flooring and then end up next year doing a kitchen redo, do we need to replace flooring again? We are considering taking up a wall? Can they work in the area of ripped wall and uninstalled kitchen island or a whole new flooring necessary?

We found this house in a cheaper city but due to the zip code it is zoned for great schools. I am wondering how much the city name matters as long as the schools are good.
