Quick fix for white tile with black grout?

We just bought a house and thus are broke but seeing the ugly white tiles with black grout in kitchen flooring pains me. We eventually plan to change flooring to make everywhere hardwood, but is there anything I can do without breaking the bank for short term? Ty

If you have a dremel or similar to remove the old grout, regrouting the floor is a cheap improvement.
