First look at his parents. Are they the affectionate type? Or are they a bit cold and aloof in regard to their emotions especially toward each other and their children.

Second watch his reactions with your children, is he affectionate toward them?

Then look at him with his friends (if he even has any REAL friends, which I doubt)

He he is the same with them as it is with you then really it's not you at all. There is something either in his personality or his past that makes him limit how he expresses his love for others. He could have a touch of a social disorder - painful shyness, or even something like Aspbergers (sp?)

The fact that he can express himself when he has been drinking indicates that it is something like extreme shyness since a bit of "social lubricant" allows him to say what he feels.
Actually most guys wouldn't cover, especially if they have wives or serious girlfriends of their own. That being said, I've never stayed out all night without a phone call even if it is prearranged.

also what would be good replacements for them? tks.
OP what is acceptable in your language?. Also if it means anything, I've known daily church going fundamentalist types say "darnit" and "fudge" and "what the heck"
for something like rings get a legnth of soild core wire and make an outline of your childs hand spread open, then drill holes in a block of stained and polyed wood and glus the ends of the wire in the holes. You then have a sentimental ring stand.
double post...
While there may be a reasonable explanation, I highly doubt it. Even if he is only still chatting with a woman he slept with before he confessed about the bar girls and is being physically faithful, this woman is still someone he sees, and they think about each other fondly.

REally it all depends on your kids.. I have happily exposed my 7 year olds to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick, The B-52's, George Thurogood, and Flogging Molly.

Remember at 5 they have no idea what the words mean thank goodness since Now that I look back I'm amazed at some of the stuff my parents let me listen to. I mean come on, "Hey Mickey"?

When we first started trying, I asked my DH what we should do if we were infertile. He said "I would love be a father and hope we have children. But I didn't marry you so that we could have children. I married you so we could grow old together." Don't sell yourself short!

Good luck, dear.
Exactly this, He married you because he loves you.
Just remember it's an expensive time consuming thing. Plus it helps if you can do the kart repairs/tuning yourself.
so he came clean after they exchanged numbers which means it finally got past the "Hey, how ya doin, sure is cold out today" part of talking and have moved on to something else.

You don't know any guy that you talk to on a regular basis only because you are in the same place at the same time regularly?
I even like Ollies now and then

If you like Talisker, an Island whisky, try Highland Park or Scapa. Highland Park 18 is wow!

I've had the Scapa (that's from the Orkneys isn't it) , and it is also very good, but I prefer the afternotes of the Talisker

Do I have the body type that so many of you think shouldn't be caught dead in anything besides bootcut and trouser jeans?

Feel free to thread-hijack and post pics of yourself if there's an outfit you'd like some honest feedback on. Just upload an anonymous picture of yourself to TinyPic or another hosting site not linked to your name, and let us give input!

Don't listen to the naysayers, I bet you get many apprecitive second glances
I wouldn't worry about the brad gun that comes with most of the combo kits. Get yourself a 19V or higher Li battery Drill/Driver with a drillbit/screwdriver set and when you want to do like the crown rent a PasLode gun.

Milwaulkee makes some of the best but Craftsman is a good one too and a good bit less expensive.
