Do you have any idea what HIPAA is or how it works or how forced birther ghouls enforce the law? Any idea whatsoever?

I think you just like the idea of little girls in peril. I honestly think many of you delight in this mentally. Take it from there because I’m not writing out all the words but I think this excites a lot of you.

Instead of insulting me, why don’t you think about it. It’s my belief that hospitals are doing this to patients deliberately for the ‘cause’

Dp- ^ this same poster also believes a zygote is a baby, and probably also believes in Santa Claus.

If so called "pro-lifers" (i.e. anti-abortionists) cared about children, they would have written it into legislation that anyone under the age of consent could automatically get abortions without there being reprisals against the abortion provider or the child or her family.

Why do you think that? These ghouls are still going after the doctor who legally performed the abortion. You think they'd drop the charges against a doctor who did it illegally?
They are going after her because of her own statements. She engaged first.

Doctors talk all the time in the papers about patients without naming them.

it's important that people know this is happening (that 10 year olds have to cross state lines to get safe and legal abortions), don't you agree?

Her statements. Meaning her legally protected political speech? Aren’t you the first amendment absolutists and here you are saying it’s reasonable to “go after” someone for their legal speech?

Did anyone care about putting the rapist where he belongs? I remember he was live-in boyfriend of the girl’s mother. Did the mother support her daughter or her boyfriend?

Is this your first time hearing about this case? There’s a whole thread here that you can read, with links.

Why are you afraid to answer the question?

You’re here on a thread full of answers to your questions.

You dont’ want to answer and it’s clear why.

Why don’t you do your own research? I thought you all were good at that.

What ‘cause’? Showing the legislature what the laws they passed prohibited? As interpreted by teams of lawyers employed by said hospitals?

NP. He was sentenced to life in prison. Why do you think anyone would be afraid to answer that a child rapist was sent to prison? Why couldn’t you just Google it instead of playing some weird little game?

People have been demanding the processing of rape kits for years. Are you new to this country?

Also this thread is about what happens in the immediate aftermath to victims and whether they are allowed to get the health care they need in the state they live in. Pretty outrageous to victimize victims twice over by making them travel far from home to get an abortion.

We manage to find billions for Ukraine and to support recent immigrants by the millions. There’s no money for rape kits by choice.

This exactly. Just look at what the FBI is prioritizing these days... the prosecution of free speech guaranteed under the law to every single American.

Why not use our taxpayer funded FBI to eliminate any backlog of rape evidence? I don’t see why rape evidence is allowed to sit cold for 60 days, while a potential rapist is allowed to go on raping more people.

The FBI must be accountable for failing law abiding Americans.

The FBI aren’t the ones who let a 12 year old rape victim in Mississippi deliver her rapists child before collecting evidence which showed her rapist was exactly the man she had already identified when she made the police report.

The FBI aren’t the ones who did absolutely nothing until repeated calls from Time Magazine to even collect DNA.

How many little girls don’t have Time Magazine calling the local police on their behalf, and what are you going to do for them?

If the posters blaming the FBI have a way for the federal government to ensure that local law enforcement believes rape reports and takes action— including even collecting the rape kits— i’m all ears.

But testing and taking action on rape kits— heck even 6 days after they’re collected— does nothing at all to protect girls from the consequences of the crime which has already taken place. A rape kit does not detect pregnancy.

So we’re back at the beginning. Why do you think these girls should have to give birth to their rapists babies?

The FBI isn’t passing laws to ban abortion even in the case of rape.

I got accused of the same when I complained about access to methotrexate. It’s used for auto-immune disorders, cancer treatment and treatment of ectopic pregnancies that haven’t ruptured. Once Dobbs was decided, doctors were afraid to prescribe it to their auto-immune patients. The only state that has a law about methotrexate is Texas, but doctors in many states are freaked out by the prospect of losing their license or going to jail.

If your “cause” is denying patients necessary treatment, then perhaps it is time to reconsider your stance and overall morals.

Zygote at early stages. Ignoring a fetus in the later stages is not a baby is insane. My son was born at 8 months gestation.
