Grooming = cheating?

The situation - mid 40s couple. Sex was once great, until kids came, and then it slowly declined to once a week, every other week, and now once a month in a good month. Needless to say, it's always been me the man wanting more and her wanting less.

I noticed when we had sex last week she was very trimmed down there. Not like that for her. We hadn't had sex in 3 months so first I saw of it. She hasn't done that before in our years of marriage except when we were dating (and I don't care, I am fine with whatever).

Is there a reason aside from another man that she would do this?

No sex for 3 months? According to our board expert, she was allowed to unilaterally open the marriage and cheat.

I’m always trimmed, had laser hair removal.

But, I got my first ever Brazilian wax during Covid and I told my husband the entire story and showed him afterwards.

It’s strange she stopped having sex with you while paying more attention to how her beaver looks. Yes- it’s a gigantic red flag. Those two things together are always on a “signs of cheating” list.

OP here, I am not narrow minded. In fact, I have raised the idea of exploring non-monogamy because I don't see the situation as sustainable long-term. But anyway, I wouldn't have been suspicious if she mentioned it as a "hey honey" but more that I found it. Zero chance she did it to spice things up.
