What do we think will happen on Monday?

Being this crippled by what happened last weekend…there needs to be some after action work done.

We don’t experience this “every year.” Your hyperbole is not helping you.

Where did you hear this? What is your source?

I saw it on the Ring app, it could be false.

APS closed Mon, 2hr delay on Tues

I think they both reopened last Friday... so probably delays or open

Arlington was closed for a teacher workday on Friday, so they weren't open at all last week.

Well that’s it. I’m pretty sure we’ll be closed now. If APS had been on a delay we would have had some hope.

Then we’re closed. We’re never open when APS isn’t. Start making your plans

And…crickets FCPS? When are th reg announcing? Or does Reid need extra time to craft a 3 pg response. She is extra wordy!

Starting to think LCPS might go back on the 2 hour delay decision if every other county in the region closed

There will be no meaningful change in the conditions between Monday and Tuesday. They are not going to clear out every student parking space on Monday and move all the big ice piles 10 feet back from the bus stops.

Arlington closed!

I agree, I think they're gonna do what Prince William did last week

And parents are furious!

Loudoun kids are going and parents are furious. Nobody wins today.

MCPS's rationale was that they couldn't get kids with disabilities onto their special buses that go door-to-door. I sympathize with those families, of course, but that's a really high bar given the condition of the sidewalks. I don't think they have the authority to send plow teams to these specific addresses to clear the snowbanks and sidewalks just for them... which means God knows when MCPS will re-open.

Unless they're complete hypocrites and open on Tuesday with a 2hr delay, ignoring what they just explained today! I think that's more likely.

With PWCS and LCPS delayed I would be shocked if it’s a full close

Prince William is NOT delayed. They are CLOSEd for students.

Oh my bad I saw the delayed Tuesday part and misread. So far LCPS is the only one opening, wow!

YUCK, so the only time we’d get to enjoy being outdoors with our kids is… winter? When it’s single digits and icy and too cold to even be outside long? Terrible idea.
