Has anyone in here had an affair with a mutual friend or a neighbor of theirs ?

My dw and I had a nanny for our dc during the toddler years. The nanny was a very sweet person but also very large. I wonder if my wife picked out anlarge one on purpose?

1. Au Pair, don't feel bad. It sounds like you two had a fun time and you ended it when it became untenable. The wife got what she deserved in that situation.

2. The rest of you, relax. Rematches happen, people make mistakes, and, whether you accept it or not, the adulterer is sometimes not the one most at fault... move past all of it with maturity and grace. It's the best form of revenge.

3. And get the money.
I love the idea of having an Au Pair living in the basement where I can sneak down and enjoy some sexy times. Good for you. It's woman like you who make this a happier world.

You know she's a human with feelings and expectations, right? To you, she's nothing more than a hole to make YOU happy. What do you have to offer to her other than crappy, fast and quiet sex so you won't wake up the mommy boss upstairs? You can't take her out anywhere, you can't buy her gifts, you can't take her on vacations. The PP response should be a wake up call to all the young women to look for someone young and available to make you happy. Or at least someone wealthy who is not scared to divorce his wife who is making the $.

I mean, I don't approve of extramarital affairs in general or having sex with younger employees. That said, this response is pretty dismissive of the idea that she might want superficial sex just the same as the guy does. Despite the dated stereotypes, women aren't asexual beings who don't have sex for its own sake but only to get other stuff (e.g. dinners, gifts, vacations) from guys.

True, but ceteris paribus, sex with a young, hot guy is much better. MUCH better. It's simply biological.

Fixed that for you.

If a friend of mine told me what OP posted I'd have a hard time maintain my respect for her. I'd definitely distant myself.

I thought she was sticking up for the mail order -- er, I mean the au pair.

Incorrect. I'm still happily married with my starter H and not angry at all, maybe because I don't have daddy issues and didn't let men take advantage of me.
I'm stating that young women should keep their eyes on the prize, whatever this means for them: marriage potential and/or hot young sexy guy. A married guy is almost never a prize, unless he's a celebrity and the young woman is paid by tabloids, like Ben Affleck's nanny. Look what happened to David Drummond's mistress and their child.
I have sons but I tell my nieces all the time not to waste their time and let men use them. Would you want your daughter to get f* by a married guy of your own age in a basement?

NP here. So yeah, but fantasies about a young admiring woman are different than fantasies about someone that he has a lot of power over. Someone young and attractive liking you despite not needing to is a lot different than someone "liking" you because you are their boss, benefactor, and landlord. I can't be inside your head to police your fantasies, but if you're getting off on thinking about dominating someone in your care (there is no way an au pair has equal consent to her host, for example), then you might want to do some work on yourself is all I'm sayin'. Real adults don't need to prey on others for gratification.

Got it. No power fantasies. No professor student or doctor patient, off limits to even think about.

Wait till women hear that domination fantasies are off limits too...

Aren't these fantasies most common among women? I don't any man who fantasizes about a power differential. Men just fantasize about someone young and hot being interested in them.

Huh, man here and I absolutely have power and domination fantasies. And babysitter fantasies which I assume men have since it's a popular x rated movie concept. Can't be that rare

DH was at a guys night last year where a friend was sharing pics of his nanny and how hot she was. He may not have acted on it but I would avoid the temptation. Of course, that only works for someone with no willpower. If you actually have marriage problems, the man could cheat with anyone. Lots of times you see pics of celebs and the AP is less attractive than the spouse.

I have known several au pairs, the ones from Eastern Europe are always on the hunt for a man so they can stay in the US. The ones I know all ended up marrying well off men, none were the dads they worked for but not for lack of trying.

No way, really? You love the idea of a young woman living in your house that you can have extra-marital sex with? Stunning! Only 99.9% of men would like that.

We had a few very attractive live in nannies, one even older than me, but it wasn’t going to happen because I was getting all the love I needed from my wife.
