No, they are all very good and most take no or few OOB students. I only saw 5 spots between all the schools last year when I just quickly looked. |
Shepherd is your best bet, but you may need to wait till 2nd or 3rd. Still not greta odds. |
Shepherd called 6 from waitlist to fill a spot, Eaton 1, Hearst 1, Hyde called 42 out of the 56 already waitlisted. Granted swing space but still worth a shot. |
Ding ding ding. Currently private and very happy, but moved from MD to DC and will consider a change to public for a good school. Figured that it didn't hurt to try and if we get in, we'd only lose our deposit. |

Not swami - There are 160 current k'ers at Lafayette. That means that there will be no space in 1st next year. OP, next time maybe order the list based on current enrollment? You have Lafayette so high, that you may have wasted a spot. I do hope you get in to one because I love your optimism. I wish I had it. |
No, Lafayette should be high if she prefers it. If they’re “wasted” spots, she should still continue to order in true preference. Kills me how people that don’t understand the lottery give advice here. |

Greed is good. Everyone in EOTP is going to hate that you got into Latin. You will make a generous donation to the Bacchanalia Faculty Fund to make yourself feel better when talking about social justice in DC with your therapist |
Forgot to sign it -Swami |
Unlike the other guy with the greed, you just aren't going to just get bad luck, you are going to get bottom 10% in numbers luck. Like Raquel turning James straight luck. -Swami |
Oooh, no you didn't!
