Not me!

My list (5th grade) is 1. Basis; 2. Latin; 3. 2 Rivers.

Oh Swami, please tell me we will get Basis! (I know we won't get latin )

Swami says every lottery has winners and losers and this year you will win. Buy a bottle of your favorite because you will be resting easy on Friday night

DP, but entitled much? Swami clearly wants to start fresh.

The last couple years Swami has done a good bit of stirring up interest in herself and disappearing to be fair. (And to be fair to Swami ... it's all ridiculous anyway so ...)

Last prediction before bed tonight-- appreciate your commuting willingness, and Swami thinks commitment to language? And random "HRCS/HRCWDCPS"

You will be rewarded by the Stokes match not yet lighting, and get into East End French in quick order, and then Spanish East End within a few weeks. You will reevaluate, run the numbers and the commute and stay in daycare/preschool/nanny for another year
Anonymous
Swami, you crack me up! But you really need to be invested in this forum to figure out what HRCWDCPS is... (I did because I spend way too much time here.)

If you are PK4 hoping for SWS, chances are you will get waitlisted. There are many siblings entering SWS at PK4 this year - not even sure there are open spots for nonsiblings.

Swami thinks you need to make more friends.

Your kid will get into Basis, you'll take it, and your kid will have homework overload culture shock.

You also won't let him metro alone despite his best efforts to convince you.

I think Swami is resting on the job about BASIS - the homework has for 5th grade has been taken down by at least 30%.

Swami, will we get into SWS this year? 5th year lotterying. 3 kids in the lottery for SWS.

Ok, Swami. I admit that we are greedy. We’re IB for Deal, but our kid is in 5th at BASIS and despite doing well doesn’t love it. We want the kid to stay through 8th...just playing for the kid. What say you? Thanks in Advance!

1. Latin
2. DCI Chinese
3. DCI Spanish

1st grade. Currently at a charter where the admin makes us uneasy about staying long term. Not sure if we should wait it out till our younger lotteries for PK3 next year or switch to our so-so immersion IB now and just have both kids there for the long haul.

Nope, and as a result you will double down on your Reggio inspired craft corner at home and add some more sticks.

Swami says you'll get into Lee East End on the initial draw, with a top 40 number at all your other choices. You'll stick with Lee East and run for PTA President.
