Two Rivers 4th
Inspired Teaching
Lee Montessori
Seaton
Shining Stars
Langley (IB)

Swami welcomes you, kind of neighbor (oooooh, a Swami clue!)

You will get into Shining Stars on Friday (or tomorrow, around 10:07pm, but really really hesitate). Your number will be in the 30s or 40s at Lee, and 50s-60s at TR4 and ITS. You will get a Lee offer just shy of count day, and jump, quizzically, on the Montessori bandwagon. You will, however, wonder until December why your child only seems to be washing tables and folding laundry at school

EV, is that you? I knew it!

Not Swami, but would you mind sharing why you ranked Langley so high?

Swami hopes you ordered these in true preference, because otherwise, you win the least understanding how the lottery works list of the year. TR is a wasted spot, but your confusing list will still work in your favor when you are awarded a spot at MV 8th, and hastily drop Langley from your list before you get a waitlist offer. You will spend the first three Padres meeting arguing about walking kids to Turkey Thicket.

Also, being married to Katie is the reason Tom invents drinks like "Toulouse your Mind"

Your double draw on inbound MR will end you up there in English, and at the top of the Spanish list. Swami wants to know how the heck you put the rest together and if you have a helipad.

True preference based on commute. I admit that I have no idea what I'm doing.

I have the same list as almost everyone I know:

1) Latin

2) Basis

And that’s it. 5th grade. No preference, other than not wanting to move!
Anonymous
P.s.: By no preference I mean no siblings already there!

PK3:

Yu Ying
Stokes Spanish
Mundo Verde on P St
Mundo Verde the new one on 8th St
Lee Montessori
Two Rivers 4th
Inspired Teaching
Seaton
Garrison
Langley
Walker-Jones (our boundary school)

New lottery player understand the lottery! Swami says that you, (ugh swami universe) are going to be our womp womp of the year. You'll get in to WJ on Friday and feel good as you watch the MV numbers moved, but still end up chosing Langley over Garrison and WJ when you get late summer offers for all these. You will table the farmers market next year.

Swami thinks you need to make more friends.

Your kid will get into Basis, you'll take it, and your kid will have homework overload culture shock.

You also won't let him metro alone despite his best efforts to convince you.

Oh Swami, please tell me we will get Basis! (I know we won't get latin )
