Can all you MAGA please explain why we need ICE? Trump didn't use it his first term. There weren't masked thugs in the streets roughing people up or taking them away from immigration hearings, yet he was still able to deport people.

When it comes to immigration ICE can do all sorts of things regular cops can't. That’s due to congress, so many of the things we think of as due process don't apply. For example they don't have to appear before a judge under expedited removal and don't have a right to an attorney.

How about beating them up? Did Congress specifically allow that?

How about people who aren't even agents, but can do out there masked pretending to be, and how do we find the people they are disappearing?
