They didn’t ditch you because of anger. They ditched you because they discovered you were horrible people with horrible values.
Wow, you know nothing about me and said that. Judge much?

It’s okay to judge fascists.

Did you vote for this. If yes....I'm judging

Help, I voted for the man who’s deploying the military on his own populace and asking the Supreme Court to undo the Fourteenth Amendment, and people are judging me for it! How unfair!

That PPP knows enough about you to know that you voted for fascism. Just own it. You love racist, rapist, fascist, authoritarian people and you supported it with your vote. You were no better than people who supported McCarthyism and once long time friends had to choose decency over poisonous friendship. the good, decent people walked away from people like you PP.

I know you call your friends “libs”, a derogatory name used by MAGA. So I know you aren’t a good friend, and I can deduce that from your post and your language, that you voted for Trump. I’m 100% going to judge you, fascist.

Just look at the 1/6 thread. MAGA and anyone who voted MAGA are dangerous. They are a cult who will never accept responsibility, are fine with MAGA grift, and like the cruelty of: tearing families apart, lying about immigrants eating pets, and cutting cancer research for children.

I have paid all my taxes, I've obeyed the law, my immigration status is LEGAL, and yet there are people like me who have been detained for weeks or months, mistreated and deported. Some of them have been released after their ordeal, with nary an apology.

You also voted for the abrupt cancellation of USAID, the stoppage of which has already killed HIV-infected infants in South Africa. Millions more vulnerable people across the world are predicted to die until 2030 if aid is not reinstated. This was American soft power and diplomacy, OP - the world order was American because the USA was the great helper of the world. Helping people not die will get you loyalty and peace on your terms. You are ceding that power to China, a repressive state that punishes dissidents systematically, and who wishes to remake the world in its image. Are you OK with that? Your quality of life and those of your children and grandchildren will decrease dramatically once the US has been supplanted as the arbiter on the world stage.

Americans who were in NIH-funded clinical trials have also been severely impacted, and their trials halted while treatment was ongoing. Some of them will die. Trump is waging a war against the federal government, and part of the government is composed of researchers who discover cures for cancer, Alzheimer's, heart disease, diabetes, etc.

I am talking about deaths; severe injury; or severe change in life circumstances for non-violent foreigners with valid immigration status who are detained or deported.

The burden of shame and blame borne by Trump voters is ENORMOUS.

And yet I still talk to one old man who voted for Trump... the more I talk to him, the more I persuade him that his support was misplaced.

I hope you see the error of your ways. You have hurt so many innocent people in the world.

This why we can't tell anyone who we voted for....

Her best friend has some Trump flags in her room, and now my daughter doesn’t want to be friends with her anymore because of it. I told her that it should be okay—that differences in political views shouldn’t end a friendship, especially since they’ve been close friends since kindergarten.

The girl is also losing many of her friends for the same reason. I even spoke with her mom. Most of the friend group is Latinas, so SHE NOT RACIST. but they keep telling she likes a "PDF" and a racist. m

How can I help my daughter understand that it’s okay to have different views, and how can I help the kids stop treating her friend this way?

Do you have a lot of friends that have different political views?

If you voted for this and stand by it....we are NOT friends.

Meh. I can judge you as immoral and amoral and not hurt you. Disliking someone doesn’t lead to violence for normal people.

Exactly.

What MAGA and the GOP don't seem to grasp is that their lies about "the left" calling people fascists leading to violence is just another projection of their hateful, violent mindset. We are pointing out the actual, real world actions of this administration that are authoritarian. We are not calling for violence.

Democrats and liberals want due process, rule of law, freedom of speech restored; we want the ICE agents to stop acting like thugs; we want things like gun control, health care for everyone, help for the poor and marginalized. These values DO NOT align with shooting people. We vote; we march.

MAGA hates and hates bigly, they love their guns and big talk of violence of those that oppose them, so they assume the go to for angry people is to violence. They assume others are the same. WE ARE NOT.

We can cut someone off because we find your lack of any moral compass repugnant and have no intent to harm whatsoever. If only MAGA weren't so fond of cruelty for cruelty's sake.

I think Trump has ruined more families than anything else since the civil war. Friends and I have taken a poll and the vast majority of families with 3 or more kids has at least one sibling estranged over politics. It seems like more MAGA have pulled away, except in DH’s family his gay brother pulled away from his MAGA brother in the first term.

The rot started with Fox News. Trump just poured gasoline on the embers.

And now they own CNN, CBS, ABC, Facebook, WAPO, Los Angeles Times, Instagram l, Wall Street Journal, and soon Tik Tok. Their claims of liberal media is an outright lie.

It always was a lie.

Did you make a mistake in voting for Trump and you now regret it or are you still all in?

At least 50 of the Venezuelans sent to CECOT prison in El Salvador were 100%, in every imaginable way, certifiably LEGAL! They entered LEGALLY. They had no criminal record in any country. They were doing everything they were told to do. They were detained for the asenine reason that they had tattoos and then deported as a gimmick that absolutely backfired at the cost of $6 million of our tax payer dollars and the suffering of completely innocent men and their families.

Typical. When people call out MAGA for their lack of morals or ethics, it's vicious. But MAGA and Trump spreading outright lies, supporting an insurrection that attempted to overturn a free and fair election, supporting the destruction of our science and research infrastructure, health care system, justice system...that's all OKAY!
