I can't believe the claimed millions are coming.

I posted this on another parade thread, but I was curious and checked out hotel prices and availability in DC from Thursday through Sunday. Hotel rooms are readily available and SUPER cheap. Most saying 30% or more under usual pricing. So yeah, can't be too many millions if that's the hotel situation.

Did you check the camp grounds?

MAGA Parks or what? Are they just going to leave their cars on the road to walk in?!
Seriously.

Park at metro stations

But the metro is full of crime and socialist!

I think they are worried about mass protests and thats what is driving the crazy fencing and shutdowns.

Yeah, no one is going there to protest.

The biggest act of protest will be the collective shrug and empty stands.

The NO KINGS demonstrations nationwide will attract tens of millions, though.

Looking forward to celebrating our men and women in uniform this weekend.

Hotel rooms are plentiful, so not many. DC and the local immediate regional area generally hate Trump. Perhaps some will drive in from the exurbs.

For the record, though the army has been planning a celebration for over a year, it was Trump who initiated having a parade and turning it into a North Korea type spectacle. And no, the US does not not normally have parades like this, typically our military parades focus on veterans or active duty rather than making a spectacle of our military weapons like dictator style countries do.

It is as gross as Trump pre-screening the military for political allegiance to be allowed to attend his Fort Bragg speech earlier this week.

The same men in Uniform who are kicking down doors and arresting US citizens in Los Angeles. Soon they will be shooting US citizens. The US military can never again say they protect our freedoms. It’s quite the opposite.

There was a military parade after desert storm in Washington DC in the summer of 1991.

I was watching the news and a poll said 93% of respondents, I’m assuming from the DC area are not attending. They are also looking parade fillers and pay people with cryptocurrency. $1000! Wow!

No one is going but the crowds will be huge!

That ad is most likely fake.

MAGA won’t be staying in DC. They will be in some exurb and drive in.

Millions coming for a 0.88 mile long parade? We really have reached peak brainrot.

Well, maybe. Even if people from the DC area are not attending, there are a LOT of MAGA people within driving distance who won’t need hotels if they decide to come. Same for people coming to celebrate the Army anniversary. Yes, two things can simultaneously be true!
