My kids are grown now and did not attend MCPS for this very reason. Teachers at MCPS tend to be very entitled most likely due to their union association. The us and them mentality is so bureaucratic and typical of pubic school teachers. This post is the perfect illustration of teachers acting entitled!

My kids went to Barnsley when he was there. He definitely had his favorite students and it was obvious who they were. I’m not surprised that some people are defending him and some are calling him out. He definitely had two sides.

I completely disagree. I work at an ES and the principal and AP are both pretty even with all the kids. And as a teacher I may have some kids who are my favorites, but the kids who are from that will never know because I am a professional and I smile at them warmly every day even if know they are going to cause my problems. Because it’s my job to make them feel welcomed and many teachers and administrators do that without showing their favorites.

And if your kids didn’t attend MCPS, you don’t know anything about teachers and their behavior.

It’s not teachers defending hm, it’s his own people coming into rescue him; they always play the victim. Just like when they said he was being persecuted because of this religion. It’s truly gross the lengths they are willing to go even when they know he’s wrong. He should never be allowed near kids again.

Interesting that you already have determined his guilt. He’s been accused not convicted. How about innocent until proven. All we know is what was released yesterday which doesn’t necessarily include all the information. So many unknowns and I just think it’s wrong that some have already determined what transpired without all the facts.

I wasn't referring to his bias here. I was referring to the bias of the people who claimed this was all religious persecution. They are biased to absurd conspiracy theory.
