Men dating younger women gives me the ick

Anonymous
It is much more customary and normal for a man to date a younger woman and a 10 year gap is nothing. He could marry her and have 3 kids in 5 years.

I’m not sure why this would bother you. 60yo dating 25yo maybe more ick as she could be his daughter or younger than his daughter.

I’m 46 and the guys we know seem to date women in their thirties or forties, at least the ones they bring around to their friends. One divorced friend recently married a 38yo woman.

We both have different long term relationship goals as he’d like to be a father and I really would prefer someone at a similar point in life as me. But until one of us finds the ideal person this is a relationship that works. He’s very tall and fit and many of my married or single or divorced GFs pester me about my sex life. Curious, jealous or both!

Im the poster above with 20 yr younger bf.

VERY similar here, also he's tall and very handsome ...and more

I am in a similar situation, 51 dating 36 year old man and he is so hot. He doesn’t want kids or get married, so it works for us right now.

Nice

I am older than my husband (almost 10 years) but I don't think we are creepy. I was his coach in college.

Just thinking about saggy boobs is nasty.

Saggy boobs are beautiful and sexy.

Men worship youth, and beauty.

Women worship rank, and money.

It has always been thus.

Nope. Never. Ever.

Um a 36-year-old man dating a 26-year-old woman is not creepy at all. That’s a pretty normal age gap. He’s not that old and she’s not that young…

I was going to post something mean because I thought you were dating a 20 year old but I realize it was 20 years younger.

As a mom of a teen son, I would find it gross for a women in her fifties to be sleeping with a 20 year old. It isn’t sexy. It is more like child molestation. I do think the same as men dating a teen.

When I was in college I had a casual male friend (age20) who dated his best friend's mom (40). They were perfectly matched sexually. They were very happy. They got married after dating 3 years. I lost touch after a while.

I went to grad school for a 2nd masters degree when I was 40. In my first semester I met a 22 year old undergrad in his senior year. He was my friend and lover for 2.5 years. He wanted to continue but i knew we would not last longer than another year or two. It's been 10 years and it is hard dating 50 year olds when the freshness of a 22 year old is so memorable. .

Don’t complain about this when most younger men have to deal with being seen as lower value until they become successful. The same older rich guy probably struggled when he was younger. Young women like to date older men and then years later when they’re old complain about young women dating older men lol. It’s the circle of life.

IMO they are not beautiful and they are not sexy. But, they are also not a big deal at all. People are a package deal, and with age often comes great benefits.

Old boobs are barely a turn off, and a woman who is enthusiastically up for anything in bed and has her own busy life so doesn't need much validation from me is a big turn on. np

That has only been that way because women don’t have access to money. This pure drivel. Only a man would say this or a woman who has been taught yes girl know your place. You are old.

I’m going to start saying women in their late 30s and early 40s are driven to procreate with young men and make it a thing. The funny thing is it already is with actresses with money. And it’s becoming less taboo as more women do it.

I’m a 35F dating a 50M with a father who is 55. When I was younger, my upper limit was 9 years older to stay on the lower side of the median between me and my dad. Now that I’m older (and a widow), I don’t even ask age anymore when I meet someone.

A 10 year age gap is kinda creepy. I dated a 39 year old when I was 29, and there was definitely a power imbalance where he called the shots and I went along. It was until after we broke up that I realized how much he used that to manipulate, as I got older I realized that if I’d been his age when dating him I would not have believed his b.s. or put up with his behavior. And I think a lot of men who regularly date significantly younger do so because they’ve learned that they can can get away with things that they wouldn’t with women who have the same amount of life experiences.
