I am really confused by what White is. Is this color or concept? I always thought Arabs, Jews, Armenians, Persians, anyone from the Caucus mountains were white, just a dark shade of white. I am Jewish and I consider myself Caucasian. I have deep olive skin. People routinely speak Spanish to me. Is White a concept that puts us into oppressor/oppressed category? Is it bad to be White? Can someone explain it to me cause maybe I am not White.

Yes, according to the radical left, it is very bad to be white. That makes you an oppressor. It makes you rich, it makes you privileged, it makes any problems you might have inconsequential. If you're "white trash", you're ignorant and pathetic on top of all of that.

But this white/not white binary is distinctly American.

I suppose I am Caucasian, because I am not the other two traditional choices. But that is very outdated. I've never considered myself white, even when white was good. I've always ticked off the "other" box.

If you want to consider yourself white, that's fine. My dark brown Armenian friend considers himself white, even though he left France due to racism. I'm far paler than he is and do not. We joke about it. It's a bit complicated for us "other ethnics" with Caucasian features.
I just say I'm "off-white" and no one argues with me, probably because they don't want to be accused of some sort of micro-aggression.

As you can see from the comment you responded to, Jews are whatever people deem to be a negative. Jews might might not have been considered "people of color" (that term is a relatively new one), but they were considered "other" than white.

Oh but don't you see - we're both white and not white, depending on who is looking. To the far left, we're white - which is why it was OK for Hamas to slaughter lots of Jews. Because they're white - and the slaughterers are brown. So it must be that the killers were justified. Israel, to them, is a white colonialist state - and so anything, literally anything, that the people they view as the colonized do to tear down the state is just fine.

Also, Jews can't possibly feel afraid or persecuted or attached as a group because we're just white.

But to the people who belong to the "Jews won't replace us" part of the anti-semitism movement - we're ethnic, but sneaky ethnic. We're trying to *pass* as white but we aren't white - and we must be stopped.

I am a bit confused as to why the advertisers are okay with the massive amounts of antisemitism on TikTok but not X. I guess because it’s Elon himself and not just regular users? TikTok users say far worse than Elon did and don’t get banned but advertisers don’t seem to mind. I don’t fully understand.

My head isn't in the sand. And I don't have any words for you about Biden being a figurehead - he's not. And in fact I think he's the best president of my 50-year lifetime. I'm worried looking at the people on the far left - and even those who aren't - who do seem to be showing their true colors WRT how they feel about people like me. But they aren't in power. And gd willing they won't be.

Like I said, I'm glad the conservatives at least like Israel even if they hate lots of the rest of my family and are destructive to others of my interests. Israel isn't my ONLY interest as a Jew or as a person.
