For those of you having trouble putting all of this in context, the middle guy essentially espoused a version of the "Great Replacement Theory" which is a white nationalist conspiracy theory that Jews are trying to replace White people with immigrants. You may remember this from Charlottesville when the tiki torch crowd was chanting, "Jews will not replace us". They were not worried that Jews would replace them with Jews, but that Jews would replace them with immigrants. This was also the motivation of the guy who shot up the synagogue in Pittsburgh.
So, this is who Musk has now aligned himself. |

That's one way to be glib about it. Another is that anti-semitism is burning like a wildfire across all social media platforms and we don't know what that is going to turn into - and your Jewish friends (hi) are feeling pretty effin uneasy right now. They might not tell you that but we are saying it to each other, and no one knows what to do. |
