You should’ve used Cuban-Americans as an example instead — it would’ve been more credible

The whole analogy is flawed, anyway, though, because none of these other ethnic groups have given up the characteristic that is actually the basis for Jews' connections to Israel, i.e., their religion. Very few American Jews are descended from people who were born in Israel recently; most Israeli Jews are not even Ashkenazi, which is by far the dominant subgroup among American Jews. So it's not like Jews just haven't given up their ties to "the old country" or whatever.

As I posted in another reply, though, the whole line of reasoning appears to be that Jews just aren't loyal Americans by dint of being Jewish, so I guess trying to argue rationally with it is pointless. But if you're going to spout antisemitic conspiracy theories, whether you mean to or not, at least try to make the internal logic of your argument consistent?

It’s actually to their detriment . A Mizrahi Pm that spoke Arabic and Hebrew would have been formidable. Hamas all speak Hebrew for the most part. Imagine what an Israeli Pm from say Tunisia or Morocco that spoke Arabic would’ve done back in the 70s. Selecting all Eastern European PM’s is no accident but it’s also to the detriment of Israel to the point that I now see people framing this as a white vs brown conflict when
