One piece of toasted, high quality bread topped with two sliced hardboiled eggs and sun-dried tomatoes. |
Either cottage cheese or almonds for protein and fat, and a banana. Coffee with milk too. |
Canned sardines on bread; or rolled oats with maple syrup and cinnamon, soaked the night before with home made hemp milk |
No one eats cereal?
I like healthy cereal with 2 percent milk, walnuts and or pecans, and frozen blueberries. Lately it’s Cheerios. I also love grape nuts but realize no one else does. On weekends I make pancakes— just from aunt jemima mix, I add an egg, yogurt and milk. I love pancakes, but should be light and fluffy. I use real maple syrup and butter. Yum! Other days, bagel with cream cheese (possibly add tomato), or dough dough toast, and scrambled eggs. Strong Black tea with milk and equal. |
My everyday breakfast:
2 eggs with around half cup of egg whites scrambled + 1 piece of whole wheat toast with nut butter + a bowl of microwaved oatmeal with milk and honey |
GF toast and PB or overnight oats. Add protein powder to my coffee. |
I love grape nuts! And all cereal really. I don’t eat cereal in the morning not because I think carbs are the devil but I personally can’t handle cereal first thing in the morning because of my insulin resistance. Cereal is usually dessert and it doesn’t insanely spike my blood sugar then. |
I too love Grape Nuts. ever since I was a child. But I often eat them dry as a snack or with whole milk for dinner. |
Smoothie or fruit is breakfast. Cereal is dinner. |
What? Many people love Grape Nuts. I don’t eat cereal for breakfast because the quantity I would need not to be ravenous would be insane. It also gives me terrible heartburn in the morning.
Two egg omelette lately. I’m bad at making omelette sandwich so they’re pretty much just flat scrambled eggs but I do rest the beaten eggs for 15 minutes so the texture is nice. If I have a nice bean salad I’ve been eating that, too. |
Read the nutrition label for Dave's killer bread. Very high in sugar. |
