At least that's what the after scenes said with directors.

What I gleaned from the showrunners in the after scenes was was that Uncle Daemon could not get it up and that's why he got angry and left. The scene was so dark I could barely tell what was happening.

I thought it showed that he actually cared about her at the end of the day, which is also why he asked to marry her. I don’t think he had any trouble getting it up.

I can't get past how young the actress who plays Rhaenyra looks. I googled her and she's 22 but to me she looks 12. I wish we could get to the older Rhaenyra sooner rather than later.

The crab thing was just stupid. Why even have that? What was wrong with him? Why were those other pirates even following him? Why would a bunch of pirates follow a weird slimy mutant looking crab guy and fight a two year battle against a guy with a dragon? Why did it take two years to burn the pirates? It just seems like there was never any backstory for who the crab guy was even supposed to be.

You have perfectly and amusingly articulated my many concerns and questions about that plot line.
