Those "Langley bullies" said they want all neighborhoods zoned for Langley to stay at Langley. Elaine Tholen has [b]already said on her website]/b] that she will give those "Langley bullies" what they want. What is it that she possibly, might do to "stand up" to them? |
|
I’m sure you can figure that out. |
Nothing, in other words. |
If Herndon parents can't articulate a concern or request beyond "get rid of at least half of these FARMs kids" then every Dranesville candidate is right to ignore them. |
If Langley parents can’t recognize any concerns other than preserving Langley’s existing boundaries in perpetuity, then one Dranesville candidate is right to ignore them, even if they are her neighbors. |
So "My priority is to give you exactly what you want" is what you call "ignoring" someone? Okay. Whatever makes you feel better sweetie. |
You sound worried. Not our fault Mobasheri and Karloutsos are competing primarily with each other over who is the Langliest. |
All Dranesville candidates say they will keep current neighborhoods in Langley. What would I have to be worried about, exactly? All of them say they will "ignore" me by giving me my preference. Anyone who wants a large number of FARMs shifted to other pyramids has nothing to worry about either. You can only worry when an outcome is uncertain. |
Your purported comfort level is belied by the ever more belligerent bleating of the Langley groups like One Great Falls, whose message is the exact opposite of “nothing to see here.” LOL. |
Nothing to see but what boundaries look like in 2 years. GF wants all of Great Falls and everyone currently zoned for Langley to stay at Langley. One Great Falls already has every candidate agreeing to do so. If they want to look at some other issue I don't care, they've done their job. Some Herndon residents want to kick their neighbors out. No candidate has promised to comply with this uncharitable demand. Looks like Make Herndon Great Again needs to get organized. I wonder if FARMs parents know how much they and their children are despised by their neighbors? |
Anyway, I hope you find a way to make peace with being zoned for Herndon and find a way to accept your neighbors.
|
Future HHS parent here — I don’t see Herndon people wanting to push out certain groups from HHS. What I see are parents who see uppitidy parents whose snowflakes are too good to be schooled closer to home. FYI Some families in HHS make the same or more as some GF families, and still send kids to HHS. I guess GF has forgotten that it was considered hick in the not too distant past. How the worm turns. |
Whether it was showing up at Forestville ES this June and railing against “gang-ridden” Herndon HS, pretending that your pretentious “Voices of Fairfax” group and web site represent the interests of anyone in the county other than your own, interrupting a School Board work session in July by screaming out about the “illegals” in FCPS, falsely suggesting that Herndon residents who believe in educational equity “despise” their neighbors, or suggesting that McLean families should be happy to be redistricted to Langley because Langley is the “top dog” school, the Langley crowd is flat-out nasty.
Rest assured that your behavior has not gone unnoticed, and that change will come to your pyramid, regardless of which Dranesville candidate gets elected. He/she will be one vote out of 12, and you have not made many friends this year. |
Spot on. |
