Falling test scores ZERO aid from FCPS Pedophile teachers https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7163099/T...ents-got-undressed-school.html When is FCPS going to wake up and help the students and teachers at these two schools?? *hint* It will involve standing up to the bully parents at Langley and Carson regarding boundary changes |
Omg!! The Brits have so many more facts than our local reporters are sharing. Why??? |
I know! This is the first I'm hearing that he was suspended without pay. AND they have video from his time in New York! |
Straight from the fcps and police news conference. All the same facts. |
I want to know who had suspicions, and said nothing to the cops. People need to stop being too afraid to speak up when they hear about any “creep” behavior of teachers or coaches. |
*creepy |
But aside from boundary changes, what can be done? |
How is sending losers to Carson and Langley going to help HMS/HHS? All that will do is make Carson and Langley worse. |
Losers? You are a pathetic racist |
At least it's a start in the right direction. It's finally time for equity. |
Is the illegal immigration part of the problem? |
Just curious. Do you really think this will help anyone? Who are you trying to help? And, FWIW, the drama teacher thing could have happened in any school in the Fairfax County. I seriously doubt that anyone had any suspicion. This happened in my neighborhood some years back. Good suburban neighborhood--it was the dad of a little girl who was doing it with her playmates. It was awful, terrible. He went to jail and people recovered. No one had a clue. These guys are slick. |
Just took this from another thread from another poster: In 2002-2003 Herndon's F/R lunch rate was 13.8%. In 2017-2018 it was 39.6%. A change of 25.8%. In 2002-2003 Langley's F/R lunch rate was 0.7%. In 2017-2018 it was 1.9%. A change of 1.2%. Gap between the two schools in 2002-2003 - 13.1%. Gap in 2017-2018 - 37.7%. Do you think this is fair? Honestly? What do you honestly think about these statistics and what do you think (if anything) FCPS should do about it? |
You seem to think it is just a matter of shifting people around. You are talking about a major boundary redistricting that would affect much of the county. And, what is it going to change? What is fairness?
There is a large cohort of good students at Herndon High School from what I hear. Their band just went to Normandy. The situation with the drama teacher is awful--but it was not the school's fault. It could have happened in any school--even Langley. I'm pretty sure you OP is the poster who is desperate to have Forestville attend Herndon. This would underenroll Langley and have a domino effect across western Fairfax. And, what would it accomplish? Fairness? No. The smart kids will still be in AP classes. Just like they are now. The needy kids would be no better off. I agree it makes sense for Forestville to go to Herndon. But, not now. If it bothers you so much, maybe you should move. |
Both FCPS and MCPS do a great job at covering for their criminals. Parents are afraid to go straight to the police if they don’t have hard evidence.
But guess what, y’all? Not your job to get to proof. But police need you to report who should be investigated for potential wrongdoing. |
