Recalls are specifically authorized under state law. Take it up with the state legislature if you think they erred. Otherwise STFU.

Why are you so committed to defending these dingbats? I’m a Democrat but it’s ok to admit that the SB members are, by and large, in over their heads and should be replaced. Also if we elected the SB on a rolling/rotating basis, instead of electing the whole board at once every 4 years, we could mitigate some of these problems caused by inexperienced and ineffectual members.

Then replace them at the next election! That’s why we have elections and offices with set terms.

Huh? Where do you get that information? The #openFCPS parents want to encourage the county to elect non-partisan officials who will work for the education of kids. Outside of Fairfax GOP and FCDC, who doesn't want that? I'll wait while you think.

She's a little bit like Pat Hynes 2.0 but hard to see her getting recalled between all the liberals in Reston and the Madison folks always getting everything they ask for.

Frisch seems more vulnerable to me - Providence isn't as liberal as Hunter Mill, he screwed both Shrevewood and the McLean families in his district, and he's more blatantly political than anyone else on the School Board besides Omeish.

And his educational credentials are nil (he doesn't have a college degree), unless you think having a partner who is an FCPS employee counts.
