Organizing and conducting a recall action, as expressly authorized by state law, takes time and effort. It’s anything but a passive exercise. You are the one who sits in your basement whining about people trying to make a positive change - in response to an incompetent School Board that has driven thousands of families out of FCPS entirely.[/quote]

Why are you so committed to defending these dingbats? I’m a Democrat but it’s ok to admit that the SB members are, by and large, in over their heads and should be replaced. Also if we elected the SB on a rolling/rotating basis, instead of electing the whole board at once every 4 years, we could mitigate some of these problems caused by inexperienced and ineffectual members. Then replace them at the next election! That’s why we have elections and offices with set terms.
