The OP makes me think of this look
|
Nothing against tall boots, but this would look better (and more professional) with low heels. |
|
Probably makes your life easier to wear the same clothing style for 15 plus years |
Lol, this is how my SIL dresses all the time. She showed up to a hockey game in this almost exact get-up last season. DH and I just laugh, because it's not a good look, and really not a good look on her. |
Your husband laughs at his sister's (very normal looking) outfits? Wow. Nice family. |
I was just about to say that. Nice family. And, FWIW, I dislike the outfit above. |
| Hockey game in that? A plus. Where are the leggings or sweats? The fleece or sweatshirt? The uggs or nikes? Looks like she actually changed after getting out of bed before she went to the game so good job! |
Same experience, except people-watching in both suburban mall and downtown restaurant. Of the 20-something and under crowd, I'd also say about 1/3 were in boots over jean/leggings/some casual-ish pant. Some looked stylish, some just practical. Also, definitely think that when it gets actually cold around here, no one wants cropped/ankle pants and bootie. It doesn't say fashion, it just screams fashion victim. |
This type of heel is ridiculous at a skating rink.. |
who the eff cares if her heel is 1/2 inch higher than what you'd wear, becky. |
Compared to DC ladies, they certainly are. |
Beautiful, classy, modern. |
| Who spends that much $ for a pair of boots and then puts them in the back of their closet b/c of something they read on a computer? Gals, think about it. |
| Surely people realize that popular, stylish, trendy, fashionable are all different things, though there are degrees of overlap at times. A popular look may or may not be trendy or fashionable, and can be popular either way. |
