Jussie Smollett attacked

The clip on the news that purportedly showed where on the street this happened showed footage of what was either Lower Wacker drive or the portion of Grand Ave underneath the Michigan Ave. overpass. In other words, it was in a very dark, desolate area, especially at 2am - prime location for an attack and likely little if any security cameras around. I used to live a few blocks from there and hated walking through there even during the day (although I’m a woman).

How scary. I hope he recovers quickly!

I hope he recovers too but I have to agree with the others, something doesn't seem right about the story. And I say that as someone who watched the first two seasons of Empire.

No.. People rarely make up stories about receiving threats, have the FBI investigate and then report an attack to the police.

That would be very rare.
