Aside from inside Subway? |
There are lots of security cameras for the parking lot and surrounds. |
Correction,t he video is of him in the subway before the attack. |
This the most recent info I can find, as of 2 hours ago: Chicago police: No video evidence found yet of reported Smollett attack From CNN's Ryan Young A Chicago police spokesperson tells CNN that investigators canvassed the neighborhood where the reported attack occurred on actor Jussie Smollett and have found no still images or video from security cameras of the incident. A dozen police detectives with the assistance of the FBI are working the case on Tuesday, according to police spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi. The only image of Smollett police obtained from security cameras was inside Subway Sandwich shop near the location of the reported crime, the actor was standing alone. |
Is that an area that would have eating establishments like a Subway? |
No, people are saying TMZ made this up. Which they did. |
|
This all does seem odd.
On a freezing cold night for two assailants to be out with bleach and a noose. No altercation - just a random attack but on a specific target. How did they know where he was or that he had gone to Subway? Either the facts aren't being accurately reported or there is a missing piece that would pull these pieces together. |
No they didnt. The police confirmed it. |
No they did not. |
Yes, it seems premeditated. An arranged meeting, they lured him there? It doesn't really make sense without more. |
Yes they did. |
TMZ and twitter reposts do not count. |
DP. CPD have provided an update that Smollett confirmed the MAGA reference in a follow up interview. |
|
For the PP who keeps arguing the police have not confirmed the MAGA claim - try Googling instead of digging your heels in. You are wrong. The information was provide after the initial interview.
“Chicago police say Jussie Smollett did not mention the alleged attackers shouting, “This is MAGA country” during the initial police interview. Investigators heard the claim in media reports and called the actor. He later relayed it to detectives in a supplemental interview.” https://www.cnn.com/entertainment/live-news/jussie-smollett-attack/index.html Looks like TMZ wasn’t wrong after all. |
Then don’t you think his people would correct the record?!! Maybe they have some details wrong but the overall Gist should be trusted. |
